The Persecution of Married Couple Wang Haibo and Fang Hui, Two Professors from Sichuan University


(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Haibo is over 40 years old. He is an associate professor in the Mathematics Institute of Sichuan University. His wife Fang Hui is a lecturer in the Foreign Language Institute of Sichuan University. Because the couple remained determined in practicing Falun Dafa and clarified the truth of Dafa and the persecution, they were persecuted and sentenced to three and a half years and three years of prison, respectively.

Their almost 12-year-old son is studying in the Primary School affiliated with Sichuan University. For a long time, no one was looking after him when the couple was detained. Due to torture she experienced in the prison, Fang Hui's health deteriorated and now her detention is being carried out outside the prison. Sichuan University has taken away their jobs as well.

In July 2004 when their home was confiscated, only one room was allocated to the family. Their previous apartment had three bedrooms, one living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, but this was taken away from them.
