Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin to be Delivered to China's Supreme Court
(Clearwisdom.net) We are citizens of the People's Republic of China and
are also Falun Gong practitioners. According to the Chinese Constitution, "Article 35. Citizens of the
People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly,
of association, of procession and of demonstration. Article 36. Citizens of the
People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of religious belief. Article 41.
Citizens of the People's Republic of China have the right to criticize and make
suggestions to any state organ or functionary." In accordance with the law, we hereby file a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin,
former president of the People's Republic of China and currently Chairman of the
Central Military Commission. Charges: "The defendant used his power over the military, the police,
the National Security Bureau, the judicial system, detention centers, custody
centers, labor camps and other governmental agencies to prohibit the spreading
of Falun Gong; he manipulated the national propaganda and news media to frame,
slander and spread lies about Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong; he
ordered the arrest, detention and imprisonment of Falun Gong practitioners who
exercised their legal rights and went to Beijing to appeal, which resulted in
the torture and deaths of more than 1,000 Falun Gong practitioners (whose names
and addresses are verified) and the arrest, detention and sentencing of over
100,000 other Falun Gong practitioners, in a period beginning from July 20, 1999
until today. We believe the deaths of Falun Gong practitioners and the
deprivation of Falun Gong practitioners' rights is the result of the defendant
who abused his power and launched a politically motivated persecution. We are
therefore filing a lawsuit with the Supreme Court of the People's Republic of
China. This lawsuit demands the following: "According to the law, the defendant must immediately end all
persecutory acts against all Falun Gong practitioners and unconditionally
release all detained Falun Gong practitioners." "According to the law, an independent body must conduct a thorough
investigation of the persecution of Falun Gong in China." "According to the law, the defendant must be held legally responsible
for abusing his power to launch the persecution of Falun Gong and Falun Gong
practitioners." "According to the law, an investigation of the people directly
responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners must be conducted;
they must be held responsible." "According to the law, Falun Gong practitioners who were illegally
detained, sent to labor camps and prisons must be permitted to act as witnesses
in court in this lawsuit against those personally responsible for the
persecution of these practitioners." "According to the law, a public investigation and trial of all cases of
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners must be conducted." "Local courts must be notified to accept cases filed by Falun Gong
practitioners and their families." "News media must be required to monitor the investigation and trials of
persecuted Falun Gong practitioners." "According to the law, the facts about Falun Gong must be published and
the reputation of Falun Gong and its founder must be restored." "According to the law, an investigation must be conducted on people in
the sectors of culture, religion, news, sports, science and other fields who
participated in or contributed to the persecution of Falun Gong." "According to the constitution, the legal rights of Falun Gong
practitioners must be restored." To the presiding judge of the Supreme Court of the P. R. China: Falun Gong taught by Mr. Li Hongzhi is based on the principles of
"Truth-Compassion- Tolerance." Falun Gong teaches people to be better
than good, to not violate any law and to improve their own moral standards.
These have benefited both the society and all manner of other people. What could
be illegal about this wonderful practice and its practitioners? We as Falun Gong practitioners, hereby appeal to the presiding judge of the
Supreme Court of China: "Awaken your conscience, exercise your bound duty,
and for the future of the Chinese nation, declare war on all crimes and end this
illegal persecution that has been going on for far too long!" Criminal facts regarding the defendant, Jiang Zemin: Since July 20, 1999 until the present, more than 1,000 Falun Gong
