Falun Gong Practitioners Exhibit "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" When Olympic Athletes from China Visit Hong Kong

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 7, 2004, 50 Olympic gold medal winners from China and 19 coaches in the team reached Hong Kong and visited Golden Bauhinia Square. Hong Kong citizens, and some groups, pupils, and individuals holding Chinese flags and Hong Kong flags with the Bauhinia flower on it came to the square, and lined up on both sides to welcome them.

Several Falun Gong practitioners held a banner saying "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" and smiled to welcome the Olympic athletes. It's regrettable that the police was pressured by higher authorities to carefully lead the practitioners to a place that was far from the site where the Olympic athletes visited.

Furthermore, right when the practitioners unwrapped the banner, about twenty persons immediately blocked the view by opening up their umbrellas. A practitioner suggested we move. But they also moved along with us and blocked us even more closely. Somebody had even held two umbrellas. Wherever we moved our banner, they just tried to block it in front of us.

We silently sent forth righteous thoughts. Didn't we come here to save sentient beings? We came here not only for the Olympic athletes. We should eliminate all the evil and rotten demons in other dimensions that control people in this area. We must lead people to see and feel the peace and goodness that Falun Dafa brings.

A new police principal observed the whole process. What Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated was tolerance, forbearance, peace, and rationality, which was an obvious contrast to the ruffians. Practitioners believe that "Justice naturally exists in people's hearts." Righteous to evil and good to bad was obvious. Those people being manipulated seemed to fear nothing and were insatiable. When they left, more than ten people surrounded a practitioner who was passing out fliers and restrained the practitioner. When a police officer went over to stop them, they didn't stop. They crushed the fliers the practitioner gave to them and threw them away. But just when they were crowding together to verbally abuse the practitioner, another group of people came out from the square and began accepting the fliers. More than ten pairs of hands reached out together, which made it hard for the practitioner to handle. All the fliers were quickly distributed. Even the fliers that were crushed and thrown away were retrieved. Among the people taking flyers was a middle-aged woman who was previously holding an umbrella blocking us. She took a flier and began to read while walking. We sincerely hope she can take this chance to learn the truth.

Actually no matter how they tried to block our banner, they couldn't keep out the people coming from all directions. Anything in the world that is good and wonderful glimmers and shines like gold, and cannot be covered. Not only people around the area saw us, but also people passing by knew us. When practitioners genially told them, "Please remember Falun Dafa is good! Please remember Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance!" Many pupils happily looked at our banner and said to the practitioners, "Falun Dafa is good!" Although we were far from the spotlight of the square, and we couldn't see any reporters, we were still reported on the news. At the time of the broadcast, all Hong Kong citizens saw us! How can they block this?!

In the evening, at about 9:00 or 10:00, after the Olympic athletes and thirty thousand Hong Kong citizens attended the music gala in the Governmental Great Court, there still were a lot of people coming to take Falun Gong fliers, which made practitioners more aware that sentient beings had already woken up. They already showed their will, and were eager to take fliers and to be saved. We shouldn't relax, instead we should lose no time and save them, and hurry up and tell them!
