Dafa Practitioner Ms. Nan Xiaoqing's Life is in Danger from Long Term Incarceration and Persecution


(Clearwisdm.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Nan Xiaoqing from Xishui County, Hubei Province has been illegally incarcerated beyond her term in the Xishui No.1 Detention Center for over one year and has suffered much. Her life is in danger.

Ms. Nan's whole family practices Falun Dafa. Her father Mr. Nan Chuyin, died as a result of the persecution in February 2001. Her mother and one younger sister have been detained several times. Her youngest sister was sentenced to six years in prison for distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Nan was abducted in April 2003 for telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong. She had several times been interrogated under torture, and is still being unlawfully incarcerated in the Xishui No.1 Detention Center, even though her term was up over a year ago. Because of the persecution from Jiang's group, a happy family like Ms. Nan's was broken up.

The Xishui County Court recently sentenced Ms. Nan to eight years in prison more than a month before the court officially convened. Later on, they conducted a secret show trial without notifying Ms. Nan's family members. They have even discarded the most basic legal procedures. Ms. Nan rejected the verdict and appealed to the Huang'gang City's Mid-level Court.

At present, Ms. Nan is extremely weak due to the abuse and mistreatment in the detention center. She was sent to Huang'gang City Hospital on September 6 and was diagnosed as having four major illnesses, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, renal failure, and one more. Her life is in great danger.
