Since being illegally arrested on May 16, 2004, Shao Minggang, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, has been held in Jinzhou City's No. 1 Detention Center, where he has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution against him. On August 30, 2004, the policemen secretly sent him to Jinzhou City's Forced Labor Camp, ignoring that his health was in extremely fragile condition. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor. Currently, Shao Minggang has still been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution against him. Personnel from Jinzhou City's Police Department and Jinzhou City's Security Bureau force-feed him every day.

On September 1, 2004, Ms. He Wenfeng, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Suizhong County, Huludao City, was reported to police, and then arrested in her home. On September 2, the policemen in Suizhong County immediately sent her to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. He Wenfeng had been held there before.

At about 3:00 p.m. on July 27, Ms. Qiao Shuzhen, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Lishu County, Jilin Province, was reported to police while she posted Dafa flyers and clarified the truth to people face to face in Huinan County, Jilin Province. She was held in Chaoyang Township Detention Center in Huinan County, where she consistently clarified the truth to the guards and prisoners, and was brutally tortured. She is currently being held in Lishu Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhuo Lihua, who is in her fifties, was a resident in Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. She was constantly tortured due to her belief in Falun Dafa, causing her previous illnesses to recur. She passed away on September 3, 2004.

At about 7:00 p.m. on August 31, Ms. Sui Shuyun, a 50-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner in Shuanghe Township, Yongji County, Jilin Province, was reported to the Secretary of Zhenjiao Village, Liu You, while she distributed Dafa truth-clarifying leaflets. Ding Ning, Deputy Head of the Township, then illegally arrested her.

Bian Yunsheng, a policeman from the Team 3 of Pangantai Forced Labor Camp in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, brutally tortured Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Gang, of Tianshui City, by hanging him up with handcuffs.

On August 30, 2004, policemen Zhang Baoyong and Yang Yongzhou, from the Tianshui City Police Department, arrested Ms. Zhang Aifang, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Tianshui City, Gansu Province. They ransacked her home. She is currently being held in the Beidao Police Department.

Falun Dafa practitioner Hei Huiyu is an employee of Xinghuo Machine Tool Factory in Beidao District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. On August 10, 2004, people from Tianshui City Political and Judiciary Committee, and the Police Department, arrested her at her workplace. Hei Huiyu is still being illegally held in Zhangchuan County Police Department in Tianshui City, Gansu Province.

On the night on September 4, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Wang Quanhuan, an employee of Xin'an Factory in Andun City, Guizhou Province, and Ms. Zhong Yuxiang, an employee of Anji Factory, were reported to police while distributing truth-clarifying leaflets in a village. Chaguan Police Station officers arrested them. They are currently being held in Heishitou, Andun City.

On May 13, 2004, Shang Yanfang played the "Pudu" and "Jishi" music to the whole village by using a large loudspeaker. She also read an article, written by herself, about World Falun Dafa Day. As a result, she was reported to the County Government by village officials.

On September 2, officials from the Security Team of Jidong County Police Department in Heilongjiang Province came to Shang Yanfang's home. They found the article written by Shang Yanfang lying on the cabinet. The music tape of "Pudu" and "Jishi" was in the tape recorder. They used it as an excuse to arrest her. Shang Yanfang is currently being held in the Jidong County Detention Center.

Lu Yanna, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Longkou, Shandong Province, and her newborn daughter Shanshan, were sent by the Longkou "610 Office" to Xingfu Brainwashing Center in Yantai for persecution.

Several months ago, Sun Jianwu, a Falun Dafa Practitioner in Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province, was arrested and tortured for making truth-clarification materials. He has been sentenced to prison, and sent to the Weibei Farm Forced Labor Camp.

On September 2, 2004, Ms. Lu Yarong, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Liuhu Village, Sanjiangkou Town, Changtu County, Liaoning Province, was arrested by policemen from Sanjiangkou Town Police Station. She is currently being held in Changtu County Detention Center.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liang Ruiqiang, 29, is a resident of Dong Village, Liyue Town, Jiangmen City. At about 3:00 p.m. on September 6, 2004, while distributing truth-clarifying leaflets on streets, Liang Ruiqiang was forcibly arrested by the policemen from Pengjiang District Police Department.

Su Dengliang, 37, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Damazhuang Village, Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, was arrested for practicing Falun Gong. At 10:30 p.m. on May 20, 2004, over ten policemen, including Yan Zhenbo from the Security Team of Nanshi District Police Department in Baoding City, Li Jianzhu from Tang County Police Department, and others from the police station, took Su Dengliang away from his home. That night, the policemen covered Su Dengliang's eyes, and sent him to Nanshi Police Department in Baoding City.

After being held in Nanshi District Police Department for a month, Su Dengliang was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. He is currently being illegally held in Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City.

At about 5:30 p.m. on September 6, 2004, police in Dalian illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Liu Wencan, Liu Wencan's wife Hu Guilian, Ma Xueqing, and Hu Shuzhen from Liu Wencan's home. They also illegally ransacked Liu Wencan's home. Some Dafa books and truth-clarification materials were illegally confiscated.

On the night of July 8, 2004, policemen from Jindouying Township Police Station arrested and detained Falun Dafa practitioners Sun Jinfang, Sun Jingang, Sun Jinglong, Wang Fuliang, and Xiao Cun on their way back home in Jindouying Township, Yanggu County, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, The local policemen interrogated them for days. They forcibly broke into their homes and ransacked their houses. They also illegally interrogated other Dafa practitioners.

Afterwards, Sun Jinlong, Wang Fuliang, and Sun Jinfang were illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor, and Sun Jingang was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Xiao Cun's whereabouts are unknown.

On August 29, 2004, Ms. Liu Hongmei, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Huying Village, Sunji Town, Shouguang City, Shandong Province, was arrested by plainclothes policemen while she was clarifying the truth at a market.

At 7:30 a.m. on September 7, Falun Dafa practitioners in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, Pan Xiangyang and his son were arrested at home. It's the third time that Pan Xiangyang was arrested. His son was also arrested once before.

On the night of September 6, 2004, policemen from Tianzhuang Town Police Station arrested Shao Meiping and Liu Xuezheng, Falun Dafa practitioners from Qiangxiaoying Village, Mencun Town, Pingdu City, while they were making truth-clarification materials.

After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, Zhang Zhirong, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Yitandian Village, Laixi City, Shandong Province, went to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa, and was escorted back by policemen from Laixi City. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and was fined 5,000 Yuan (1) by the village committee.

At the end of May 2004, Zhang Zhirong went to the village committee office asking for the illegally fine back. The village head asked him to ask the Town Government. Then Zhang Zhirong went to the Town Government, and has not been back home since. He was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.
