Numerous Atrocities and Perverse Torture Methods in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 30, 2004 in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, on-duty guard director Wang Kai of the No. 5 Group tried to force detained Dafa practitioners to answer questions that slandered Falun Dafa. Those who refused to answer were treated with extremely brutal torture methods. Wang pinched the practitioners' flesh with pliers, forced their legs apart to the point of breaking them, inserted a wooden stick into anuses, and dislocated hip and knee joints.

In another case, Zhao Shuang, head of the No. 5 Group, put practitioner Tang Shaoyong into a confinement cell in July 2003. Zhao also tied Tang up on an iron chair and beat him with an electric baton. Furthermore, Zhao caught a big rat and put it under Tang's clothes. The rat ran around on Tang's body and bit him under his clothes.

In May 2003, persecutor Qiang Shengguo ordered inmate Wang Dashuai to torture Dafa practitioners. Perpetrators Yang Yu, Shi Changjing, Wang Yuou (director of the Education Section), Liu Lun (vice-director of the labor camp, in charge of brainwashing), and Shi Yingbai (director of the labor camp) ordered inmate Yang Xiaodong to torture Dafa practitioners with "The Big Hang Up" method (1). The perpetrators also ordered the inmates to swing the Dafa practitioners back and forth while they were being hung up and tortured. They also took off the practitioners' pants and shocked their genitals. They called this torture "electric medical treatment." Other torture methods used include burning fingernails with cigarettes, stabbing practitioners with steel needles, and rubbing the practitioners' backs with long benches. They poured mustard oil into practitioner Sun Kaiqing's nostrils. They said that the electric batons are the torture tools given to them by the ruling party. Although some practitioners were tortured to the verge of death, the authorities still refused to release them. They said that those who were tortured to death could be labeled as having died from "natural causes" on the medical report.

At the Political and Judiciary Meeting of Heilongjiang Province that ended on August 27, 2004, the authorities discussed how to further carry out the persecution. Participants of the meeting went to visit Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp on August 25, 2004. After the visit, they concluded that "Falun Gong is deeply rooted in society, and it's hard to eliminate it." The persecutors are very afraid of the lawsuits brought by the family members of those practitioners tortured to death, because some of these lawsuits have resulted in the prosecution of the police guards who committed the crimes. They were fired from their positions and punished according to the law.

Recently, the labor camp has been planning a new round of persecution. They are planning to recruit more guards for the newly arrived Dafa practitioners and have these guards torture the practitioners directly. We hope that upon seeing this story, people with righteous minds will help to condemn and stop the crimes being perpetrated against Dafa practitioners.

A brainwashing session was held recently in Wuchang City. Collaborator (2) Zhong Yueting, who used to practice Falun Gong and was "transformed" in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, provided the guards with many ideas on how to persecute the practitioners. Zhong is also receiving a salary from the local "610 Office." Perpetrators in Heilongjiang Province want to use Wuchang City as a "model" and hold brainwashing sessions in other places of the province.

(1) "Big Hang Up" - There are two forms in this torture: 1) With both hands handcuffed behind the back and only the toes touching the ground, one is hung by a rope that is tied to the metal window frames; 2) One hand of a practitioner is handcuffed to one bunk bed and the other hand to another bed, and the two beds are pulled in opposite directions.

(2) Collaborator - Former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture.
