California: Newark City Day Parade Welcomes Falun Dafa (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On September 18, the City of Newark in northern California held the annual City Day Parade to celebrate its 49th birthday. Local practitioners have participated in this parade five years in a row and their participation this year was once again warmly welcomed.

While some practitioners displayed giant "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" banners, others demonstrated the exercises and traditional Chinese waist drumming.

Many local residents have learned the beauty of Falun Dafa over the past five years. As soon as the practitioners' procession passed the stage this year, many spectators started to applaud.
