Have We Found Our True Selves Amidst Fa-Rectification Cultivation?

(Clearwisdom.net) After reading Teacher's most recent article "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human," I felt immersed in the boundless compassion of Teacher. At the same time, I have a deeper understanding of how serious Fa-rectification cultivation is and how urgent it is to save sentient beings.

In the past five years, many genuine practitioners have been validating Dafa in harsh environments under tremendous pressure. At the same time, some practitioners have been doing Dafa work with various human mentalities. After the abovementioned article of Teacher's was published, many practitioners who had not stepped out before have stepped forward to clarify the truth using various means. However, some of them still do not let go of their attachment to time, and they hold the thought in their mind, "We should hurry, otherwise we're going to miss the opportunity..."

Back on June 17, 2000, when Teacher published the article "Towards Consummation," many practitioners who still had human notions thought along the lines of, "Teacher told us we're approaching consummation. We should hurry, otherwise we're going to miss the opportunity." They did not understand the Fa rationally, nor did they find their fundamental attachments and remove them. They were unable to validate the Fa with a pure heart, not to mention achieving the standards for consummation. Because of their attachments, some practitioners were persecuted by the evil, and some even went astray because they could not bear the persecution. Later some practitioners realized their mistakes, and with Teacher's compassion and their own efforts, they managed to keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification.

This five-year Fa-rectification cultivation period should have made us clearheaded. We are Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period. We came to this human world with a grand mission to save sentient beings and assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification. Every being that can enter the new cosmos must achieve the state of selflessness and unselfishness, considering others first before himself. My personal understanding is that a cultivator and an enlightened being should completely assimilate to "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." He treats every being with compassion and he will not have his heart moved by anything. The purpose of his existence is for the good of others.

At the final stage of Fa-rectification, each and every one of us should take the Fa as Teacher, and every thought of ours should be based on saving sentient beings. Only when we look inward unconditionally and rectify ourselves with Dafa, can we gradually meet the standards of the new cosmos and enter into it. I often ask myself, "Do you believe in Teacher and Dafa? How much do you believe Teacher and Dafa? Are you assimilating to Dafa unconditionally or just using Dafa as a protective shield? Is what you do truly for the benefit of others? Are you really that pure? Does your current cultivation status meet Teacher's standards? Are you truly cultivating? Are you putting Dafa in the first priority all the time? Is the Fa always in your heart? Are sentient beings always in your heart?" With such constant reflection, I found my true self. I am no longer attached to personal gain and interest. I am no longer moved by everyday people's sentimentalities. My heart is now filled with Dafa and numerous sentient beings.

I hope every disciple can cherish what Teacher gives us, and not miss out on this hard to come by opportunity.
