Torture Methods Used on Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net)

Torture Method One: Lifting the Victim with Iron Bar

The victim is forced to squat with his two arms around his knees. Then his hands are cuffed tightly. An iron bar is then inserted above his arms, and under his knees. Afterwards, the bar is lifted and the two ends of it are placed on two desks. This way, the victim is virtually lifted off the ground in between the desks, with his face up and back down. Soon the handcuffs will cut into his flesh, causing unbearable pain. In no more than 10 minutes, the victim is soaked with sweat. Even the floor under him is wet. The victim's legs are often immobilized after this torture.

Policemen Miao Xiaopeng and Huang Wei from Nanzhou County Police Department, Nanyang City, once used this torture on practitioner Chen Jian for 10 minutes. Huang Wei has now been transferred to a different work unit.

Torture Method Two: Handcuffing the Victim in Such a Way That His Body is Tilted

One hand of the victim is cuffed to a ring on the ceiling. The other hand of the victim is cuffed to a window. This way, the body of the victim is tilted. Police captain Wang Tengyong from Nanyang City Police Department once used this torture on 10 practitioners. Wang Huaiying, a practitioner from Shandong Province was one of them. She was beaten to death after she endured this torture. When her family members came to claim her body, the police even attempted to extort several thousand yuan as a so-called cremation fee, but were rejected.

Torture Method Three: Torturing the Victim with Shackles Filled with Sharp Thorns

The victim is shackled, and the inside of the shackles is filled with sharp thorns. Two people then drag the victim's arms and force him to run laps. While running, the victim has to suffer excruciating pain caused by the sharp thorns that make contact with his ankles.

Ma Fei, a practitioner from Nanyang City, once suffered this torture in Pinggu County Prison in Beijing in 2000.
