California: Clarifying the truth in Watsonville and Capitola (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th, the Santa Cruz County Fair took place in Watsonville. Falun Dafa practitioners were scheduled to perform the Falun Gong exercises on both days for 20 minutes. On Sunday, the exercise demonstration was even longer then 20 minutes. During the demonstration, practitioners shared with the audience about Falun Dafa and the benefits of the practice, about the persecution taking place in China, and about the courageous and peaceful appeals that practitioners are staging worldwide. Several people expressed much interest. The organizers have already invited us for next year, expecting an even larger participation.

Later the same day, practitioners went to the city of Capitola, a beach resort city close to Santa Cruz and about 80 miles south of San Francisco, right on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. That day a big "Arts and Wine" festival was taking place in Capitola, with thousands of people walking around the city and on the beach. Practitioners stopped at the beach, and started doing the exercises. We had three large posters and some banners with us, to let people know about Falun Dafa and the persecution. While some practitioners were doing the exercises, other were handing out flyers. Many people were interested to learn more about Falun Gong, and several kids, including a 3-year-old, wanted to learn the exercises. More and more cities in California are getting to know Dafa, to see practitioners, and to learn the Falun Gong exercises. As Teacher said in his recent article, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People": we are
 "...bringing it [the truth] to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people."

Practitioners are reaching out further and further to clarify the truth, and people are more and more interested in learning Dafa.
