(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Erie County Fair in Buffalo, New York has a long history, and it attracts about one million visitors every year. Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the fair for the fourth time. They introduced Falun Dafa to the residents and told them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Falun Dafa tables at the fair

The Fair lasted 11 days. Some practitioners worked weekdays and could only help during the weekend. Two practitioners took a day off from the office and helped to set up the tables and display boards. There aren't many practitioners in Buffalo, and during one week, the responsibility to serve at the table shifted onto one retired westerner practitioner. From Monday to Friday, he came early to set up the tables and stayed at the table promoting Dafa and clarifying truth all day long. Two years ago, he learned Falun Dafa at the Fair. This year, he served at the Fair alone as a Falun Dafa practitioner for five days. Many Chinese practitioners said that he served selflessly and they didn't do as well as him.

The pure and honest upstate New Yorkers have a naturally favorable impression of Falun Dafa. Some of them asked for the address of the local classes, and said they wanted to learn the exercises. Many people were surprised when they learned of the torture and persecution going on in China, and signed their names in support on the petition to rescue Charles Li.

There were many interesting stories during the 11-day fair. One boy saw the exercise teaching video and followed the movements. His movements were accurate, and he was very concentrated. Finally, he reluctantly left after his mother called him to leave many times.

One resident of Jamestown (a two hour drive from Buffalo) told the practitioners that there was a Falun Dafa promoting visit in her city a few years ago. She was very happy and bought the book Zhuan Falun and the exercise teaching videotape on the Internet. But there weren't any practitioners in her city, and she couldn't get any answers when she had questions. The practitioners invited her to join the Fa-study and exercises in Buffalo to progress together.

A youth acrobat group from Beijing was performing at the Fair. One practitioner found one young member of the group and gave him a truth-clarifying CD. We hope these young people can learn the truth after such a long journey.
