A Story of a Heavy Coat in Weifang City, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2000, I was held at the Weifang City Detention Center for appealing for Falun Gong in Beijing. Luckily, another practitioner took care of my daughter during that time, as she was only ten years old. One day, during my break at the detention center, a section chief from the prosecutor's department sent a few words of greeting from the other side of the iron fence, on behalf of a friend of his. A couple of days later, his friend had him deliver to me a cotton quilt, a heavy coat and 100 yuan (1). He refused to tell me his friend's name. He asked me to put the coat on and said, "Your face shows that you look very cold."

I put on that heavy coat and felt so warm, from deep in my heart; a warmth so welcome particularly in this dismal, cold and dark-hearted detention center. Dafa was with me, which made my heart feel light. I had seen the real truth of the Fa (2), which Jiang's regime had been trying to damage and had covered with all the lies. It was encouraging to see that other people would have righteous thoughts towards Dafa.

Later, I found out the section chief's friend is the neighbor of my boss, who had persecuted me the most. I used to send Dafa books and other Dafa information to my boss, but she just tossed them aside and said, "Look at what you did! I cannot believe that you still send me these materials at this time!" In contrast, her neighbor happened to be there and she picked up the books and the other Dafa materials and said, "Let me read those."

The truth is that the neighbor read the book and liked it. She learned about my case from that boss of mine. She later asked her friend who works in the prosecutor's office to deliver the bedding, clothing and money. This is what I experienced.
