(Clearwisdom.net) On August 23, 2004, State Independent Member for Bligh (including east part of the City of Sydney) Clover Moore wrote to the Minister Alexander Downer of the Foreign Affairs to request government's protection for Falun Dafa practitioners in Australia, on behalf of David Liang, a Australian Falun Dafa practitioner who was recently shot through both feet while traveling in South Africa.

Dear Minister

I write on behalf of David Liang, of Unit 6' 10A Durkin Place, Peakhurst. David is an active member of Falun Dafa who was recently shot through both feet while traveling in South Africa.

David believes this attack was coordinated by the Government of the People's Republic of China as part of its policy to eradicate the Falun Dafa. In Australia, David says that Falun Dafa supporters have experienced telephone taps, other surveillance and property damage by the Chinese government. He believes that the Australian Government has prevented legitimate protests by the Falun Dafa in the ACT.

As an Australian, David is entitled to legal protection from these types of persecution, but he believes he has not received appropriate action from the Commonwealth Government.

Could you please investigate David's concerns and inform me what action you have taken?
