Police in the Hanting Detention Center of Weifang City Shackle Practitioners to Crosses and Torture Them (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net)

Police in the Hanting Detention Center make crosses by nailing together three long planks of wood. Each plank is about eight inches wide. Two of the planks are vertical and one a horizontal. Police handcuff a practitioner's feet and hands to the cross, forcing the body into a T shape. The three planks are not flat, because the horizontal one is placed on the top of the vertical ones. The practitioner's head goes backward, the raised horizontal plank presses against the spine, and the person cannot move at all. The pain is so intense that in a very short period of time, the practitioner often faints. The cross is usually placed on the ground unless the practitioner is being fed or needs to use the restroom. Then the cross is raised to a vertical position.

During the past few years, many practitioners in Weifang City have been subjected to this kind of torture. The following photos are re-enactments of this type of torture based on descriptions provided by the victims.

Ms. Du Xiuhua, from the Kuiwen District in Weifang City, was handcuffed to a cross for seven days. She fasted to protest this treatment, but the police inserted a tube through her nostril to force-feed her. To further torment her, they did not take the tube out when the force-feeding was over.
