Liu Tongtong Orphaned After Mother Ms. Jin Lifeng's Death from Persecution in the Huludao City Detention Center in 2001

Female Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Lifeng from Huludao City, Liaoning Province, was brutally force-fed by guards in the Huludao City Detention Center. She died 7 days later due to bleeding from an injury to her lung (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/3/21/20082.html).

Ms. Jin Lifeng, 39 years old, was an English teacher at the Bohai Ship Industrial Institute in Liaoning Province. She started practicing Falun Dafa in March, 1999. On August 14, 2001, police arrested Jin Lifeng when she was working in her office. Her husband later divorced her because of the stress from police harassment. The police even threatened to detain her indefinitely if she did not quit practicing Falun Dafa. Jin Lifeng went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and inhumane torture on February 5, 2002. However, she was brutally force-fed by the guards. On the seventh day of her hunger strike, while force-feeding her, the guards forced the feeding tube into her lung, causing profuse bleeding from her mouth and nose, and her subsequent death.

Liu Tongtong is her son, 9 years old, a third grade student in Dongyuan Elementary school. He is under the care of his grandparent.
