Huadian City, Jilin Province Police Torture Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ban Huijuan (Photo Re-enactments)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 3, 2002, Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ban Huijuan was abducted by the Huadian City Public Security Bureau of Jilin Province. At the Political Security Brigade of the Public Security Bureau, she was interrogated through torture. On the first day of her arrest, around midnight, Chief Wang of the City Police Department held a meeting for the police who were in charge of Ms. Ban. After the meeting, the police chief pointed at Ms. Ban in front of the other police and said, "Ban Huijuan, you hold on, you must hold on." He then smiled maliciously to the police and left. At around 3 a.m., seeing that Ms. Ban still wouldn't say anything, the police chief whispered something to the two police, and then went home.

When three police started a new round of interrogation, Ms. Ban still refused to say anything, so they handcuffed her to a bed and tied her feet to the bed as well, rendering her immobile.

Seeing that she still wouldn't say anything, the police screamed, "We'll drug you with aphrodisiac pills, and let two hoodlums rape you at the detention center." Seeing that she still hadn't given in, they put something under her clothes, and moved it around. When it reached her breasts, Ms. Ban shouted at them. The police did not dare to continue.

The police covered Ms. Ban's mouth and nose using wet table napkins. After the third napkin was put on, Ms. Ban could barely breathe. After the fifth napkin, Ms. Ban did not move anymore. Being afraid that Ms. Ban would die, the police took the napkins off after a while. They frequently repeated this torture.

The police also filled a bag with smoke. When the bag was thick with smoke, they immediately put it over Ms. Ban's head, and tied the bag to suffocate her in the smoke. They also tickled Ms. Ban's feet and ridiculed her.

Two or three more police came in and began beating her. Ms. Ban lost consciousness after a while. They poured cold water on her head and then stuffed dirty socks into her mouth to prevent her from screaming. The three police then forced her to sign a Guarantee Statement.

Ms. Ban was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Since early June 2002, eight practitioners, Ban Huijuan, Wang Xiuyun, Shao Ling, Xu Guijun, Yu Cuifan, Wei Shuhua, Wang Xiaohu, and Cheng Congyu, have been tortured there. The torture methods include brutally beating practitioners, shocking with electric batons, the Tiger Bench [torture equipment intended to inflict pain on the legs], hanging practitioners with hands cuffed behind their backs, tying their hands and feet to a bed, forbidding practitioners to go to the restroom, and stuffing dirty clothing into their mouths. Practitioner Wang Xueyun was tortured to the verge of death at the police station, and was then sent to a detention center. She died soon after.
