(Clearwisdom.net) News of the persecution in Qidong County, Hengyang City, is reported on Clearwisdom very often. However, most practitioners may not know that a practitioner from the Hengyang City Gasoline Company, Hu Weiping, was tortured to death by personnel at the Hengyang City Public Security Group. I would like to share my understanding about this incident with fellow practitioners, and I hope, through the sharing, we will pay more attention to cooperation as a whole, and leave no loophole for evil forces to exploit.

For a long time, most fellow practitioners in Hengyang have been following the Fa strictly and doing better and better in cultivation, but there is one problem that has not been addressed or seriously considered. We all know that we should be considerate of each other, but we do not fully understand the meaning of "Dafa disciples are one body." Most fellow practitioners only care about a very small circle around themselves. It seems that they are unmoved as long as nothing bad happens in this small circle set by themselves. When sending forth righteous thoughts, except for the 4 global times, we do not have the same understanding of sending righteous thoughts toward local persecutors, and the effect of eliminating evil as a whole body is not reached.

We do not really pay enough attention from deep in our hearts to the persecution of practitioners that we do not know personally. We do not truly realize that

"The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference July 22, 2002")

and that we need to remind each other to send forth righteous thoughts. Some fellow practitioners are unaware of this problem, and even say things like, "The practitioners who are being persecuted should look inward, and should not rely on others." We are not paying enough attention to other practitioners who are persecuted. Instead, when talking about it, we all think that this practitioner must have not done well, so evil forces took the advantage of his loophole.

Actually this thought is very dangerous, especially if most practitioners think this way, instead of just one or two. This means that we are acknowledging the arrangements of the old forces, and the old forces will have an excuse to persecute us. They will think "See, even you, yourselves think that the reason you are persecuted is because you have loopholes, and you don't send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate us, so you are acknowledging our arrangements." Thus, they will use this excuse to persecute practitioners

However, when fellow practitioners close to us are jailed, we become worried and remind each other time and time again. Everybody becomes worried, and nobody is able to calm down to do anything. We would go to visit the jailed practitioner in the detention center in turns and every time the visit costs us 100 yuan. Thus, the evil forces conclude, "This one must be the main coordinator who is in charge of a lot of things, otherwise, there would not be so many people coming to visit him," because no one visits those who are also jailed, but not known by many other practitioners. Although we know there are other practitioners jailed in the detention center, we do not take action because we think that it is beyond our circle, so it is not our business.

I think that this is one of the reasons why practitioners in Qidong have been persecuted continuously for a long time. Qidong is a county in Hengyang. Every time the persecution of a practitioner is reported, the practitioners in Hengyang do not pay enough attention, although we all hear about it. Some practitioners would mention it in passing, "I heard a fellow practitioner was arrested." Then the others would ask immediately "Who?" "A practitioner in Qidong." Then all the others would all sigh, "Oh", and that is the end of the discussion. No one pays any more attention to it, and no one suggests that we send forth righteous thoughts together at a certain time for this practitioner.

We haven't done well or paid enough attention to exposing the persecution by the local persecutors. Many practitioners even think in their hearts that the local persecutors are not as evil as those in the north, so they don't treat the persecution by the local authorities seriously. Some practitioners also think everything is fine as long as we do not get arrested when clarifying the truth. Isn't this acknowledging the old forces' persecution? Arresting practitioners when clarifying the truth is surely persecution, but aren't the evil actions behind the scenes also persecution? We haven't done a good job of collecting persecutors' phone numbers, and we have not cooperated well with Clearwisdom to reach the goal of rescuing fellow practitioners as a whole body. When exposing the local persecutors' wrongdoing, we have not continuously and seriously made and distributed the materials to the local people.

When talking together, many practitioners do not discuss how to improve in cultivation. Instead, their topics are usually "so-and-so is doing this or that" and "so-and-so has materials we can take." Some practitioners who make materials do not pay attention to cultivation of speech themselves. They talk openly about things like who is going to take materials and who already took materials.

Actually, these things are very dangerous, not because we are afraid of evil, but because the evil forces can take advantage of our loopholes. Why do we like to talk about those things to each other? Aren't we validating ourselves and showing off? Isn't that the information that the persecutors want to get? If every one paid attention to the cultivation of speech and maintained their awareness and avoided these topics, wouldn't the evil forces have no way to know it even if they wanted to?

Some practitioners think we should not hide things from each other, and that we should be open with each other and talk about everything. Actually, this thought is also too extreme. We should be open and honest when we see fellow practitioners' shortcomings, but it is not necessary to talk about who is doing what, and the sources of our materials. On the contrary, we should not talk about this kind of topic at any time, and we should have a very strong mindset to protect fellow practitioners. We should not give the evil forces any excuse. No matter what the environment at the surface level is like, we should never let down our guard, and we should always do well the things we should do, rationally, clearheadedly and wisely.

There are some long-term unsolved small conflicts between practitioners. That is because our levels in cultivation are different, and our understanding of the Fa is different, so we cannot always agree. We should cooperate with each other harmoniously, which Master already mentioned many times in different lectures. We can always find the solution in the Fa. A coordinator should be responsible to the Fa, fellow practitioners, sentient beings and himself. He should not ask practitioners to agree with him on everything and have the final word on everything. If one treats himself as the coordinator, then he should improve himself in cultivation, and put down the heart of validating himself. To do well in coordinating, he should measure every thought of his with the Fa, not on whether his ideas and suggestions are taken or not. Some so-called coordinators spent a lot of energy on unnecessary things, and had some practitioners find out what others were doing, where others took materials and so on. The consequence of doing so for a long time was that everybody began to talk about this kind of thing when they got together. Actually, many practitioners always rely on the big material production sites, and don't want to make materials themselves. This is also one of the main reasons for the phenomenon mentioned above.

1. All the practitioners in Hengyang (including all the counties and towns) start paying attention, sending forth righteous thoughts together at 8, 9, and 10 every night to completely eliminate all of the dark minions and rotten demons and evil factors, encompassing everything and leaving out nothing in other dimensions of Hengyang (including all the counties and towns).
2. At 11:00 every night, all the practitioners send forth righteous thoughts towards those persecutors who have not repented and are still persecuting practitioners. Our targets are Zhou Zhuowen at the Hengyang City Public Security Department and vicious policeman He Zhengrong in Qidong.
3. We are a solid, unbreakable whole body. We should treat others' issues as our own. No matter whether we know each other or not, no matter whether we are familiar with each other or not, we should always help each other, completely opposing the arrangements of the evil forces in our thoughts and our behavior. We should all start using our environment to collect accurate relevant phone numbers, and contact Clearwisdom to expose the persecution and make materials to expose the local persecutors' evil behavior to local people.
4. We should completely put down the everyday person's heart and mentality of fear, build up more small materials production sites so that we can clarify the truth and expose the persecution comprehensively and in multiple ways.
5. We should pay attention to the cultivation of speech, and should not let down our guard and talk about information related to the materials sources. If everybody pays enough attention to the cultivation of speech, then the possibility of leaking information unintentionally will be non-existent. Actually, the lessons we have had in this aspect have been very serious already. Everybody should pay attention to it. Moreover, the fellow practitioners who are in charge of making materials also need to put down the heart that they are higher than others. We are one body; we are just doing different work. There is no rank or competition. We are all validating Dafa, instead of ourselves. We should pay more attention to our own shortcomings and not talk about others' shortcomings.

I hope all the practitioners in Hengyang (including all the counties and towns) cooperate well, and make the full use of the power of the whole body, finishing the journey that remains nobly and righteously. We should not let down our guard at any time, and do well the Three Things with our righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Please correct me with compassion if there are any incorrect points. I hope we will be persistent in sending forth righteous thoughts together as a whole, and really pay enough attention to it until the evil is completely eliminated.
