By Falun Gong practitioners in Malaysia
(Clearwisdom.net) On January 16, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in
Malaysia held an anti-torture exhibit in the meeting room of a hotel in Kuala
Lumpur (KL). The exhibit included reenactment of torture methods used to
persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China and some artwork from the
"Uncompromising Courage" art exhibit. The anti-torture exhibit
visually depicted the Chinese Communist Party and Jiang regime's brutal
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Visitors were astonished by the
brutality the exhibit exposed. Visitors at the exhibit Some visitors assumed that practitioners were exposing some persecution that
happened in history. When they were told that this is happening in China today,
visitors were astonished and could not believe that such inhumane persecution
could happen in civilized society in the 21st century. Some visitors shed tears while looking at the exhibit, and repeatedly asked
practitioners, "Is this true?" Some visitors carefully looked at every
art work, attentively listened to practitioners' explanations, and felt anger at
the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong. Listening attentively to practitioner's explanation Listening attentively to practitioner's explanation People from various religions came to visit. Some left their contact numbers
and invited practitioners to hold anti-torture exhibits in their churches, where
there are many Chinese people. Practitioners also collected signatures at the exhibit, calling for the
Malaysian Parliament to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and at
the same time to no longer interfere with or unreasonably stop practitioners'
truth clarification activities in Malaysia. People who learned the facts all
signed the petition to express their support. |
