Two Dreams

(Clearwisdom.net) My wife recently had two dreams about me just before I was about to go back to my hometown to clarify the truth. Both dreams were related to my cultivation.

One dream occurred several days before I went back. My wife saw in a dream that I was the king of a country. My country was very small and had a very small population, and other conditions were very poor. Most of my people were old, weak, sick or disabled. I was the youngest and the healthiest, but in fact I too was also very weak. Many people were in the water, still waiting to be saved. Because I was the youngest, I had to save the people by myself, but I was alone and weak, and I didn't have enough strength to, even though I had the desire to do so.

The next morning, when my wife told me about the dream, I said, "I really was like that last night." I had no confidence about going back to my hometown to clarify the truth. My hometown changed a lot and I didn't know how to start. Because the effect of truth clarification was not very good in my local area, my mind was in a state of being swayed by considerations of gain and loss, and I really felt that I did not have enough strength to do it even if I wanted to. This dream was a reminder to me that I have not done well and that I must take responsibility for my beings in the future.

The night before I left, my wife dreamt that I was arrested while clarifying the truth. I had been detained in brainwashing classes twice before.

The next day, my wife told me about her dream and asked me not to go. My mind was not disturbed. I just quietly packed up my things, took the truth-clarifying materials with me and left on schedule.

Even though I came to know Falun Dafa as early as 1995, I did not practice diligently. Especially because I was very well-known for practicing Falun Gong in my local area, was arrested several times and had many attachments, co-workers and friends alike tried to avoid me and the effect of truth clarification had not been good. I wanted to try going back to my hometown, as there are many people there, relatives, friends, teachers, and classmates--all people who were waiting for me to save them. When I actually took this step, little did I realize that under Teacher's care, the effect of this round of truth clarification would turn out well. As soon as I got on the bus, I started talking with a person who had a predestined relationship. When I arrived at my destination, I distributed the truth-clarifying materials on the way to my hometown. When I arrived in my hometown, that evening I played a truth clarifying VCD for my relatives. The next day, on my way back, more people learned the truth. This gave me tremendous confidence in my future truth clarification.

On my way back, I thought about my wife's two dreams. The first dream was a true reflection of my cultivation state. It was a hint from Teacher, but the second dream was an illusion caused by my wife's inherent notions about me.

I know many fellow practitioners like to get hints from dreams. At one time after I was arrested, I was greatly interfered with by some dreams told to me by my wife and by many of my own dreams, prior to my arrest. They were in fact caused by human attachments.

Therefore, as practitioners, we should not be attached to it. Many times, the evil tries to interfere through dreams, especially in the final stage of Fa-rectification. My experience is that as a Fa-rectification Dafa disciple, no matter what kind of things we encounter, we must clearly remember that we are practitioners, do things based on Dafa and face it with righteous thoughts. Then it becomes easy to distinguish whether it is a hint from Teacher or the evil's interference.
