Validating Dafa with Our Actions and Demonstrating Dafa's Miracles

(Clearwisdom.net) I met a couple when I went to visit my elder sister in early September 2004. They saw a card promoting Dafa that I put on the bed. I thought it was a good opportunity to clarify the facts to them. I told them about how Jiang's faction staged the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" to turn public opinion against Falun Dafa. When I talked about how practitioners followed the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance," they smiled and said, "We know that practitioners are all good people, because our housekeeper practices Falun Gong."

The coupled told me their story. The husband's mother was in a coma. She had two younger sisters who were both doctors in a hospital, yet they could do nothing about their mother's illness and could only watch her die. The children had to work and had no time to take care of their mother, so they decided to hire a housekeeper to look after her. They had hired four housekeepers, who all quit after only a month. They said, "The patient is too dirty and we are paid too little. There is so much work to do."

Later they hired another housekeeper. She said she was over 50, but she looked like she was in her 30s. She was neat and agile. Since she started looking after their mother, her condition gradually improved. At first she began eating a little, and now she can eat two bowls of rice. Her eyes can also move around and follow people. When someone tells a joke, she even laughs.

The children were very glad to see the improvement of their mother. They became hopeful about her illness. They also noticed the huge effort the housekeeper made. Every day, she cleaned the house, brought the beddings of the patient outside to air, ventilated the room, cleaned her body with wet towels, and changed and washed her clothes. After she finished all these chores, she helped the patient's daughter-in-law with her household chores. She never complained and was always cheerful. Everyone in the family liked her and treated her like a family member.

They saw her play audiotapes for the patient every night. They later found out it was tapes of Teacher's lectures that she had played. They then learned she was a Falun Dafa practitioner.

Their mother had improved after listening to Teacher's lectures. Everyone suddenly understood. Before that, the whole family was deeply poisoned by the lies of Jiang's faction and resented Falun Gong. They were very impressed by this practitioner's deeds. They personally witnessed the compassion of a practitioner and Dafa's divine power. They finally understood the facts about Falun Dafa and practitioners. Now they tell everyone they meet, "Our housekeeper is so great. She practices Falun Gong."

That evening, I went to my aunt's home and brought Teacher's new articles to that practitioner. She was stitching a quilt that she had washed for the patient. The room was very clean, and did not smell like a sickroom. She was very glad to see me. She told me,

"I have been working here for over 5 months. I played Teacher's lectures for her every day. I didn't know if she could hear it or not. But I thought, Teacher has told us that Buddha saves people with predestined relationships. If she has a predestined relationship, she will hear it. One day, I thought I should probably move to another place since she didn't seem to be improving much and I couldn't just waste time without saving sentient beings. I asked her, 'I have played Teacher's lectures for you every day. Can you hear it?' Suddenly, I heard her replying, "I can hear it.' That was the first sentence she had said to me since I started working here."

On my way home, I was very happy. This practitioner has validated Dafa with her actions, and demonstrated the beauty of Dafa.
