Practitioner Ms. Ma Chunli Is Arrested - Her 5-Year-Old Son Loses His Parents, Stays Home Alone

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 14, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Ma Chunli from Dehui City, Jilin Province was walking down the street with another fellow practitioner named Su Dan, when suddenly a group of police officers from the Dehui City Police Department rushed over and arrested her. Ms. Ma has been on a hunger strike since her arrest, lasting 28 days as of this writing, to protest against the cruel physical tortures she suffered and the persecution against her. As a result of the hunger strike, Ms. Ma's life is now in danger!

All of Ms. Ma's family members are Falun Gong practitioners, and the Jiang regime has forced her entire family into a very miserable situation through its crackdown on Falun Gong. Currently, the family's only child, a five year old boy, is left home alone. Ms. Ma's husband, Mr. Sun Qian, was arrested on October 26, 2002. He was imprisoned for more than fifteen months beyond his initial jail term. During the extra imprisonment, Mr. Sun was subjected to numerous tortures. On January 15, 2004, Mr. Sun had already been persecuted so severely that he was unable to walk, but nevertheless, he was dragged into the Dehui City Court by two people, and was illegally sentenced to an additional 12 years in prison. Right now, Mr. Sun is being illegally held inside the Jilin Prison.

Mr. Sun Qian's brother, Sun Ke, went to the city administration to appeal for Mr. Sun's persecution on December 18, 2003, and he received a severe beating as a result. Two police officers tried to force someone called Peng Xiangyang to give a false witness report to incriminate Sun Ke. Mr. Peng refused to co-operate with the police, but the two police officers then presented themselves as witnesses in the court and gave false testimony. Sun Ke was illegally sentenced to one year in prison, and is being held in the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province.

On December 14, 2004, Mr. Sun Qian's oldest brother, Su Dawei, was also seriously beaten and then arrested by the Dehui City Police Department while he was making a telephone call inside a public telephone booth. The 5-year-old son of Ma Chunli's family is thus being left alone at home. The boy is now living a very difficult life while being helped by friends and neighbors.
