Two Practitioners from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, Were Persecuted to Death in 2003

January 30, 2005 |   By practitioners from Inner Mongolia, China

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Guohua from Jianchang Village in the Yuanbaoshan District of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, remained steadfast and did not stop practicing Falun Dafa despite severe persecution. She died in 2003 after being persecuted for two years. She was approximately thirty years old.

Between 2001 and 2002, Ms. Liu was sentenced twice to forced labor, but the forced labor camp rejected her both times because she was diagnosed with breast cancer. However, she was twice imprisoned in the Pingzhuang Detention Center in the Yuanbaoshan District. During her detention, local 610 Office Chief Wei Yong and his subordinates refused to release her. Only after her illness significantly worsened did they release Ms. Liu.

Ms. Liu went twice to Beijing to appeal to the central government to stop persecuting Falun Dafa. Afterwards, to avoid arrest, she was forced into destitution and homelessness. She was also held at the Baotou Detention Center for five months,

In the spring of 2003, the local 610 Office twice captured Ms. Liu and imprisoned her. As a result of all the physical and mental torture, her cancer worsened, and Liu Guohua died in August 2003.

Forty-five-year-old practitioner Ms. Cui Guilan, also from the Yuanbaoshan District in Chifeng City, died from persecution in 2003. Before practicing Falun Dafa, she had herniated discs and severe rheumatism, which caused her pain and much difficulty moving. After she starting practicing in 1996, all of her illnesses disappeared. She too refused to renounce her practice of Falun Dafa.

Once the persecution began on July 20, 1999, local police officers and 610 Office agents repeatedly harassed her and twice sent her to a brainwashing center. After all these incidents, Ms. Cui Guilan developed breast cancer and left this world in 2003.
