Taiwan: Taoyuan County Practitioners Attend New Year's Day Flag Ceremony (Photo)

By a Taoyuan County Falun Gong practitioner in Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) At 4 o'clock in the morning on New's Year Day 2005, a group of Falun Gong practitioners from Taoyuan County did the exercises on the Huge Egg Plaza. They were waiting for the first dawn light of a new year and to attend the New Year's Flag Ceremony in the stadium for Taoyuan County residents.

At around 7 a.m., people began to enter the stadium. The practitioners' exercises beside the stadium drew the attention of many people and many of them stopped to watch. As Falun Gong is made known to more people, the number of Falun Gong practitioners increases year after year.

The Falun Gong practitioners in Taoyuan County also have a wish for the New Year. They hope Mainland China practitioners will also be able to demonstrate Falun Gong exercises peacefully and respectably to the people to celebrate the holiday.
