(Clearwisdom.net) In the spring of this year I obtained an anti-web-blocking software called "Freegate." I rushed home and installed it. "Wow!" Via anonymous web surfing, the website I had been longing for appeared in front of me. I was so moved at the time that I couldn't help but cry: "Thank you Master! Thank you to those who developed the software to break through the web-blocking! I finally can stay at home to read the Minghui website safely and freely."

For a long time, using the Internet was next to impossible for a majority of Dafa practitioners in China, especially for those like me, who had been sent to a forced labor camp and are still under close watch after being released. Even for those who haven't suffered severe persecution, how many of them know how to safely surf the Internet? I do not know whether overseas practitioners know how practitioners in China feel. The practitioners are so anxious to communicate as a whole and to follow up on the progress of Fa-rectification, while at the same time, we feel much pressure in such a dangerous environment where surfing the web is closely monitored. I deeply feel that, as a whole, we have gotten wonderful support from overseas fellow practitioners.

A few years ago, because of the persecution, I had to leave home and go from place to place. I stayed in a truth-clarifying-material distribution site. The practitioners in charge used all kinds of methods to download material from the Minghui website and managed to distribute them to others. With the advances of the Fa-rectification, Master told practitioners,

On the Minghui website it was also suggested that truth-clarifying material sites should be set up everywhere. Therefore, many small material sites were set up. However, the overall situation is far from what the Fa-rectification required. Of course, one of the reasons is the CCP's persecution, as the cost makes having a materials site in the poor areas very difficult. The most important reason is that practitioners are afraid to surf the web. For example, in our region, for a long time we have been relying on the large material-distribution site to pass out the truth-clarifying-material. In my hometown (Luxi, Shandong Province), several incidents have occurred where over ten practitioners were arrested on the same day for surfing the web. Fellow practitioners couldn't identify the reasons for the arrests and suspected that spies were the cause. The damage was so great that no one dared to get on the web, and we eventually had to rely on the material sites in other places. Therefore, when I got this precious anti-web-blocking software, I immediately thought I should help more practitioners to get it and to distribute it to ordinary people as well. This way, we can help sentient beings know what is happening in the real world safely and freely.

Through the anonymous website, one can access all kinds of software. After I more or less mastered the functions of the Freegate software, I immediately made it into a CD and put other helpful software on it. I went back to my hometown with the CD. When I handed over the CD to a fellow practitioner, his first words were, "This is such a good software, why didn't those practitioners who knew of it distribute it earlier?" I was a little shaken by these words. I am sure that those who developed the software spent many days and nights of hard, tedious work. They specifically designed and developed the programs for people in China who have restricted web access. Their hard work and efforts can be seen in every software upgrade.

Of course, the practitioner also implied a little worry in his words. They have paid a heavy price, while the Freegate software has been out for several years. Now, it was being distributed through me, a beginner when it comes to these matters. In fact, I had to beg really hard to get the software (Many practitioners do not want to distribute it for safety reasons, which has led to another obstacle.). I also have a little worry, too. We let down the overseas practitioners whose efforts didn't achieve the effective role they should have.

Currently, the blockade on the web has been broken through. As far as I know, the anti-web-blocking software has been widely distributed in our province. I saw that the software was included in a CD with the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party material. The software has been distributed to thousands of families. I have a high opinion of the anti-web-blocking software. Different keys can open different locks. For those who have high-level educational backgrounds or even for those that don't, the anonymous web surfing can provide the most thorough information. Some people may like to see news, while others may like to read about supernormal phenomenon or healing. No matter what they like, this can become the key to opening people's minds. In order to save the sentient beings, we should do our best and open up our way of thinking. We should use the effective ways that gods have created to save sentient beings.

Fellow practitioners have distributed a number of software CDs in the relatively well-off cities and towns. In the poor areas, we mainly distributed brochures and fliers. Now people are breaking through the CCP culture to find accurate information. When I clarified the truth to relatives and friends, some proactively asked for the anti-web-blocking software. With the persistent efforts of practitioners to clarify the truth and expose the evil, the sentient beings in our region have changed for the better. They do not believe that the Tiananmen self-immolation is true, and they show their sympathy instead of hatred toward us. They hope Falun Gong will have its name cleared and that the CCP will soon collapse. The corrupt party officials and the CCP itself are denounced everywhere. Now, news about quitting the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers is being widely and quietly spread. People are awakening. In our area, the first stage of the CCP's campaign to "maintain the Party members' advanced nature" lasted less than three days. Everyone, including the officials, laughed at its absurdity. Even the communist party members and party officials ridiculed it. The second stage was not implemented at all. Currently, there are some difficulties in making more progress in helping people quit the CCP. Many people think they have quit the Party automatically by not paying dues or that there is no need to go through with the formality. Of course, it is also related to some practitioners who still have internal barriers to be broken through. We can and should do better in the future.

This is the current situation out of China, where brutal persecution is being conducted and the news has been sealed off. Although the evil is still rampant here, the sentient beings are awakening and the Fa-rectification has advanced fast and dramatically. What I want to express here is this. To those overseas practitioners who are skilled in the science and technology field, the practitioners in China thank you! We need your help! Your work is very significant!

Without the unified coordination among practitioners in China and overseas, it would be more difficult to clarify the truth and save sentient beings in this situation, where the evil rampantly blocks the media and Internet while brutally persecuting practitioners. Because of your selfless support, we can easily and safely access the web and set up many family-sized truth-clarifying material production sites. Even those who do not know much about computers are able to surf the web. Whenever we get the anti-web-blocking software and are able to access the Minghui website, we are filled with joy. We want to sincerely share our happiness with you and let you know that your efforts made this possible.

Now we can surf the web through the anonymous websites and send the statements to quit the CCP back to the Epochtimes website. It helps the practitioners working at the material sites by decreasing the pressure, and it helps more practitioners to give up their fear of accessing the web. Whenever new software comes out, we distribute and use it quickly. The column "Technology Sharing" is very helpful, which I always read. When the new software to remove the ability to trace where a CD came from arrived, I quickly downloaded and installed it, and passed it on to other practitioners. I am still a beginner when it comes to the computer, but I already have some technical skills. Of course, there are still many more skills to be learned.
