"Don't Thank Me, Thank Our Merciful Teacher"

(Clearwisdom.net) Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I was a long-term patient of a medical doctor who was a professor, and a highly skilled specialist. He knew that I suffered from several different maladies, including a terminal illness, and that my family had gone so far as to prepare a coffin for me. After I started to practice Falun Gong, I became well and I frequently clarified the truth to him and gave him Dafa materials to read. He witnessed the amazing changes that practicing Falun Dafa had brought to my body. He understood and supported Dafa and also encouraged his wife to practice.

In the middle of July this year, I returned to my hometown and stopped by the professor's house; he introduced me to a worried looking man who was about 40 years old. The professor said to him, "You should let him talk to your wife." I asked the professor what was going on. The professor said, "His wife has been sick for several years. She has spent a lot of money and went to numerous hospitals; she's been here for some time receiving treatments, which seem ineffective. She's only 40 years old, and she can't move or speak. She's completely dependent on others. Her son is in high school. Her husband here sells vegetables, which is the family's only income. They're in a tough spot."

After hearing about his predicament I told him about Falun Dafa, and advised him to tell his wife to continuously repeat to herself, "Falun Dafa is good, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance' is good."

At the end of July, I met this man again. He'd just finished his work for the day. I said, "We meet again, it must be fate. May I please go with you and meet your wife?"

He agreed, so we went to his house. His wife, a thin, frail woman, was sitting on the bed and looking quite ill. She looked very uncomfortable. She really wanted to speak, but she was unable to. In fact she could barely move, but she could hear and understand what I was talking about. I told them about how wonderful Falun Dafa is and how it's practiced all over the world. I also spoke to them about Jiang Zemin's cruel persecution of Falun Gong and told them what the evil spirit of communism is, and why people should resign from the Chinese Communist Party. Before I left, I gave them some truth-clarification materials and told them that as long as they kept studying Falun Dafa, believing in Teacher and Dafa, a miracle was certainly possible. Anything is possible with Falun Dafa.

The next month passed quickly. On August 28^th, I was bringing Teacher's exercise CD to them. On the way to their house I ran into one of their relatives. He said excitedly, "She finished reading through that Falun Dafa book, and now she's reading it again. She can speak and walk. Their son was admitted to a university in another province and today they went to the train station to see him off. Please wait for a while, they'll be back soon."

I was very happy to hear about this. Falun Dafa had saved the family and brought good fortune to those who understood the truth about Dafa. When they came back, I saw a beautiful woman with a rosy complexion, she'd put on some weight and could speak and walk. When they saw me, they grabbed my hands, saying excitedly, "Thank you so very much."

I corrected them immediately, "Don't thank me, thank our merciful Teacher."
