By a Falun Gong Practitioner in Sydney

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners participated in the annual Cultural Festival of Ashfield, Sydney on Oct. 9, 2005. They were warmly received by local residents, who bought Falun Dafa books, inquired about group exercise sites, signed their names to denounce the persecution and condemned Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Downer for allowing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong to go on in Australia. A lady who works at Sydney University took some truth-clarification materials and post cards calling for Prime Minister Howard to help stop the persecution. She said she would give them to her colleagues and friends.

Ashfield has a large Chinese community. Influenced by the CCP's lies about Falun Gong, many Chinese don't dare to be in contact with and even became hostile towards Falun Gong practitioners. With the Falun Gong practitioners' persistent effort of truth-clarification, more Chinese took materials to find out the benefit of Falun Dafa and facts of the persecution this year. The Falun Gong practitioners' collective efforts made this activity a success.
