Details of the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Chungang in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 1, 2005, Masanjia Forced Labor Camp centralized all steadfast Falun Gong practitioners into the 1^st brigade on the 2^nd floor and carried out the so-called "rigorous guarding" persecution. The 1st team of the 1st brigade persecuted Ms. Zhang Chungang, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dandong, because she refused to wear the prisoner's uniform, refused to do physical exercises and refused to perform slave labor.

In the beginning of April 2005, under the command of manager Su Jing, 1st brigade chiefs Li Mingyu, Xie Chengdong and others locked up Falun Gong practitioners from the 1^st brigade who were on hunger strike behind an iron gate on the 1^st floor and stabbed them with needles.

Because Zhang Chungang conducted a hunger strike to resist the persecution, in late May, she was also taken to the 1^st floor to receive forced injections. The labor camp doctor, Cao Yujie, (female, around 50 years old) said when she injected needles into Zhang Chungang, "Let me tell you, my vision is not so good, so I can only feel by hand. I'm not sure how many times it will take me to put the needles in! Quickly eat if you do not want to suffer!"

Between April and May 2005, Zhang Chungang was very emaciated, and her health was deteriorating rapidly. At midnight on a day in May, Zhang Chungang suddenly began twitching, and her life was in danger. Because the persecutors did not allow other practitioners to see her in order to block the news, it is not sure whether Zhang Chungang was sent to the hospital or not.

Zhang Chungang twitched many times in succession. It was a very dangerous situation for her, but the guards at Masanjia treat Falun Gong practitioners' lives as nothing. In May 2005, Cui Hong, a female guard from the 1^st brigade in the 2^nd team said, "Unless you have cancer and are going to die, don't even think about going home!" A 1st brigade chief, Xie Chengdong, said, "If you die from your hunger strike, then you'll die in vain. Even if you're dead, we won't let you go home." When there was a practitioner in critical condition due to cruel force-feeding and beating, a 1st brigade's chief Li Mingyu watched from the side and said, "It's all right, you won't die!" Panjin practitioner Li Baojie lost consciousness on the spot due to the barbaric force-feeding at the 1^st team of the 1^st brigade on April 7, and passed away the following day.

Yang Yaqin, the chief guard on duty (in charge of monitoring practitioners with severe physical symptoms) was looking over Zhang Chungang when she twitched. In June 2005, when Yang Yaqin was supervising practitioners who were receiving injections and being tortured on the 1^st floor, she said, "Zhang Chungang's symptoms are very severe, very dangerous." Even so, Zhang Chungang is still being tortured in Masanjia.
