'Mom, When Will You Come and Take Me Home?' (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The little girl in this picture is Niuniu, who is now four and a half years old. Niuniu's mother is Wu Fengzhen, an acupuncturist from Nanchang City First Hospital. Because Niuniu's mother is a Falun Dafa disciple, police often went to their home to harass the family. Due to the police harassment, Niuniu's father left her and her mother.

On the night of June 28, 2005, police took Niuniu's mother away. Niuniu was very frightened.

Niuniu always used to spend time with her mom after school. Niuniu's mother made tasty food for Niuniu every day. Niuniu sang and danced for her mom, and told her stories about kindergarten and her friends. Niuniu and her mother often laughed happily. When Niuniu was unhappy, her mother taught her to be a good kid and practice Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, and not to swear or fight . Niuniu listened to her mother, and her teachers and friends in kindergarten liked her a lot.

Now, having lost her mother, Niuniu is sometimes dropped off at her mother's colleague's home, sometimes her father's home, sometimes her father's sister's home and sometimes her mother's sister's home. Niuniu misses her mother, and she cries for her and wakes up a couple of times every night. Niuniu's mother's sister, who is very fond of Niuniu, told her that they know she misses her mother, but there's nothing they can do about it. Niuniu's aunt and uncle are unemployed workers.

Last time Niuniu went with her father to visit her mother in jail, she didn't cry or make any trouble. Her mother said she was to be imprisoned for two years, and she had to work for eleven hours every day. Niuniu's mother told her to be well behaved while she was away.

Niuniu promised her mother to be a good kid, and said that she missed her mother so much. She asked her, "Mom, when will you come and take me home?"

Dafa disciple Ms. Wu Fengzhen and her daughter were taken to the Tengwangge Police Station in Nanchang City for distributing truth-clarifying materials about the persecution of Falun Gong on the night of June 28, 2005. Later, Wu Fengzhen escaped using righteous thoughts, and her sister picked up Niuniu. The next morning, police conducted a house-to-house search and monitored the train and bus stations. On July 11, Wu Fengzhen decided to go back to work. That very day, while Wu was making lunch, police from the Tengwangge Police Station took her and her daughter away. Her sister picked up her young daughter while Wu was being held at the Nanchang City First Detention Center in Xinjian County. The authorities have reported to the Public Security Bureau at Donghu and intend to sentence Wu Fengzhen to two years of reeducation-through-labor.
