Dr. Hu Borong Paralyzed after Brutal Persecution by the Hubei Xiaochi Police Station


(Clearwisdom.net) On September 5, 2005, Dr. Hu Borong, an OB-Gyn physician from the No. 3 People's Hospital in Huangmei County Hubei Province, was arrested for the third time and taken to a brainwashing center in Hubei Province. The head of the hospital Guo Zaiqing deceived her by asking her to come to the hospital office to receive her living expenses.

Ever since the beginning of the persecution, the Xiaochi Police Station has been brutally persecuting Dr. Hu. In 2001, the 610 Office in Huangmei County, the Public Security Bureau, and the Xiaochi Police Station sentenced her to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp because she went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Dafa. Because she was tortured, she was paralyzed from the waist down and released to go home for medical attention. This former healthy physician could not care for herself. Her husband could not accept the situation and divorced her, so her brother and sister took her in.

Since then, the hospital has stopped her salary and has not given her any living expenses. Dr. Hu has a daughter who goes to school and relies on her mother's salary to live. Once Dr. Hu's income stopped, she could only rely on the help of her relatives and friends to help her daughter until graduation. Her hospital is still withholding her salary. The "610 Office", the police station, and the hospital constantly came to her house to threaten and harass her.

In July 2003, the Public Security Bureau in Huanggang City confiscated all of the equipment that she used to make truth clarification materials. During the arrest she was forced to jump out of her second floor window, fracturing her pelvis. She had just recovered from her precious paralysis to the point where she could stand, and now she was paralyzed again.

In July 2004, the police chief, Chen Honggang, along with the head of the hospital Guo Zaiqing, arrested Dr. Hu at her dormitory. They took her to the County Detention Center and sentenced her to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp again. Since she could not stand, the labor camp refused to take her and the police had to release her.

On September 5, 2005, the County "610 Office," the Xiaochi Police Station, and the hospital authorities arrested her again. They deceived her into coming to the hospital office to receive her living expenses. A group of policemen took her away as soon as she arrived. She was taken to a brainwashing center in the province, where she was injured again. She was released on September 27.
