A 70-Year-Old Is Happy to Obtain Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I am over 70 years old, and I come from the Lianshan District in Huludao City. Since taking up the practice of Falun Dafa two years ago, my body has changed drastically. I am thankful to Master Li. I truly feel that Falun Dafa has saved me from the bitter sea of illness and enabled me to know the bliss of health.

I obtained Falun Dafa later in life. I was diagnosed with a gallbladder infection, lachrymal (tear gland) infection, coronary heart disease, nerve rheumatism, acid reflux, and other conditions. Being sick was my life. So much illness made me lose hope. I felt that life was a pain and I wanted to die. I was growing older and less capable each year. I gradually lost the ability to work. It put a large burden on my children. Then, at the recommendation of some kind-hearted people, I started practicing Falun Dafa.

Because of my limited understanding, I was very doubtful of Falun Dafa. I thought, "If I am so sick that the hospital can't cure me, how can Falun Dafa cure me?" So I started practicing while still taking medicine. One of my conditions was inflammation of the eyes, causing my eyes to create pus. Traditional Chinese Medicine didn't work, so I took Western medicine. I wasted a lot of money but my eyes still didn't improve. In fact, the more medicine I took, the worse my eyes became. Then I realized that I am a practitioner, and Master Li said that practitioners have no sickness.

In the past, every time my tear glands were infected I would get a fever for half a month. I couldn't eat or sleep. But this time it only took three days to pass. Master Li is correct: if I take myself as a practitioner, every tribulation is just a trial. And if I raise my xinxing, I can pass it.

As I studied Falun Dafa, my attitude toward Falun Dafa changed. Now I am steadfast in the practice. Despite tremendous pressure, I will not stop cultivating. Slowly my body has recovered and I have regained my health. Other have people commented that I look younger. I feet much better inside, and my worries are gone. I have saved on medical bills and am less of a burden on my children. As I continue to study Falun Dafa I want to continue to improve and move upward.

I hereby want to thank Master Li and Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa has given me health, and it's a blessing both for me and for my children. I hope that more people can study and benefit from Falun Dafa. This is my sincerest wish.
