Dafa Disciple's Understanding of Mercy (Clearwisdom.net) "The mercy exhibited by our Dafa disciples today has never been achieved by any beings before in their cultivation. A Dafa disciple--a most magnificent, merciful being--is the most remarkable and most merciful in every environment of human society, and is beneficial to other beings. I'd like to share with fellow practitioners how to view our Fa-rectification journey with the mercy of a Dafa disciple. Whenever I encounter interference or persecution by other people, I regard it as the time to upgrade myself in my cultivation. I treat it as an occasion for those who would cause trouble to listen to the truth, get rid of any incorrect understandings they may have and choose the right path for their future. Thus, I always embrace such situations with happiness and express gratitude to them because the tribulations they impose on me allow me to upgrade myself in many ways.
I regard them as people who have a predestined relationship with me, those whom I should offer salvation to. Therefore, no matter what they bring to me, I am happy in my heart. In Zhuan Falun, Master told us: "...If your mind is always that peaceful and compassionate, when problems suddenly come up, you'll usually have a buffer and room to think it over. But if your mind is always thinking about disagreeing with other people, fighting over this, over that, then I'd say once you run into a problem you'll start fighting. I guarantee it. So, when you get into a conflict, I'd say it's meant to transform the black matter in your body into white matter, into virtue." I think very little of the persecution, because it has been arranged by the old forces. We should never recognize any persecution, and should completely negate it, since it should not be allowed to exist. We offer salvation to people. The things that happen in the world have their own reason behind them, and everyday people can never destroy the Fa. Ordinary people cannot determine anything in these matters and no one is qualified to test the Fa. With the protection of Master and Dafa, the numerous righteous gods guarding the Fa, and the gong we have cultivated ourselves, no one is able to touch even a finger of ours. In front of a true cultivator, evil is nothing. Master has told us: "All of this is merely to use the evil's performance to solidify Dafa and remove cultivators' fundamental attachments so as to free cultivators from the shackles of humanness and karma."
