Keng Sheng Daily, Taiwan: "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibition Opens
(Clearwisdom.net) Keng Sheng Daily, Hualian, Taiwan, reported
on October 22 that the "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" International
Art Exhibition was held in the library of Hualian Education University. The
Taiwan Falun Dafa Association was one of the hosting organizations. The purpose
of the exhibition was to provide an opportunity for more people to learn about
the brutal persecution against kind-hearted people in China and practitioners'
uncompromising courage in the face of the cruel persecution. More than 40 excellent paintings were exhibited in the hall of the library.
Many teachers and students stopped by to see them. Hualian Education University
said that the paintings were made by practitioner artists from all over the
world. Some of the artists were unlawfully imprisoned in China. The
practitioners' paintings showed the grace of Dafa and the uncompromising courage
of practitioners under torture. The exhibition was divided into five sections: "Enlightenment,"
"The Beauty of Cultivation," "Uncompromising Courage,"
"Calling for Justice," and "Justice Prevails." Though the
exhibition is based on belief, the artists' proficiency effectively displayed
mankind's pursuit of truth, mankind's reverence for gods, and the struggle
between kindness and the evil of human beings. Students from the art department of Hualian Education University said that
the paintings were both well executed and touching. Some students said that they
sensed strong light from the paintings. Several of the paintings depicted practitioners being tortured. The students
from this free and peaceful society were shocked at the Chinese Communist
Party's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
