"Miss, would you please help Falun Gong children persecuted in China?

"Sure," a young college student answered. She was reading a textbook quietly near to the "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" International Art Exhibition site. After hearing an introduction about Falun Gong children persecuted in China, she said that she would post the information on her department's bulletin board.

This special exhibition is being held from October 21 to November 2, organized by the Falun Dafa Club at Cheng Kung University, at the 1BF art gallery of the university library. The art exhibition has so far attracted many students, out-of-town visitors, professors and staff members. During the opening ceremony, the Tainan City mayor, legislative council members and city council members spoke out, calling for public support for Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China.

A view of the exhibition

One of the visitors to the exhibition was shocked by the inhumane treatment that practitioners in China are suffering. He said that he couldn't imagine that the Mainland is still using such cruel torture methods against people. Upon hearing about the "Rescue Falun Gong Children" project, an older woman told her husband right away to mail the postcard to President Bush to urge him to rescue the children. Besides schoolchildren brought by their teachers, some young parents also came with strollers to view the exhibition.

The Taiwanese Association to Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China called on the visitors to pay closer attention to the ongoing persecution on the Mainland. The organization also prepared and distributed informational VCDs, postcards and fliers about the rescue efforts.
