Taiwan: Paper Cranes Convey Minghui School Children's Best Wishes to Falun Gong Orphans (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to rescue Falun Gong orphans who are suffering persecution in China, Minghui Schools and the "Taiwan Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Association" have recently held a series of activities including signature collection campaigns.

Parents and students from Minghui Schools hope that with everyone's persistent effort, children in Mainland China who are similar in age as Minghui School students in Taiwan will have a free and happy childhood one day.

Cello music "Hearts' Calling" created especially for rescuing Falun Gong orphans played in the background as students and their parents folded paper cranes to give away. Everyone was absorbed in folding colorful paper cranes. They hoped that the paper cranes would bring their best wishes, fly over layers of mountains and dangerous and difficult roads to bring all Falun Gong orphans who are living in great difficulties under the CCP's genocidal persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China, to free and warm places.

As estimated, as of August 2005, 2731 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of persecution, thousands of practitioners have been forced into mental hospitals, more than 6,000 practitioners have been illegally sentenced to prisons, more than hundred thousand practitioners have been illegally sentenced to forced labor. Many Falun Gong practitioners who have died as a result of persecution left behind their underage orphans. Many children have been fired from schools, become homeless and been prejudiced against. These children have experienced great harm both physically and mentally, and they need urgent rescue.

At the break time, the art teacher played video "Rescue Falun Gong Orphans" to young practitioners at Taipei Minghui School, helping them understand the difficult situations that these orphans are truly facing: having lost parents, being fired from school, and hard to making a living. In particular, such brutal persecution has lasted for over six years, but the ruthless and senseless persecution has not stopped. Due to the CCP's tight information blockage, many people still do not know the true situation of the persecution.

After the film, young practitioners put paper cranes into many transparent containers, each representing a different country. Children form Minghui Schools in Taiwan would like to present these paper cranes to presidents of different countries to express their concerns for human rights, and spread their love for Falun Gong orphans to every corner of the world. They called for all kind-hearted people to uphold justice and work together to stop the brutal persecution. They called for people's attention to a group of human rights victims who are living in the darkest environment and whose voices can not be heard. They also called for an end to such inhuman catastrophe and support for rescuing Falun Gong orphans in China.

Paper cranes were raised high or stretched out or carried in children's hands, we hope that all orphans will be like these paper cranes, break away from the cages and fly freely in the sky with people's concerns.
