Partial Listing of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Gaoqing County and Hengtai County in Shandong Province


(Clearwisdom.net) The 610 Office of Zibo City and the brainwashing center are located in Shiqiao Township, between Zhangdian District of Zibo City and Hengtai County in Shandong Province. The brainwashing center is publicly known as Zibo Legal Education Center, and it is where more than 400 Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted. The following is a partial account of persecution of practitioners by Gaoqing County 610 Office personnel, Gaocheng Township government officials and police officers.

1. Mr. Xing Xihua is from Xiguan, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County. In 2001, while distributing truth clarification materials in Xingjia village in Hengtai County, he was illegally arrested and then sentenced to four years of imprisonment. He is detained at the Suo Township Detention Center in Hengtai County.

2. Mr. Zhang Duntang, from He Village, Nan County, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County, was arrested in 2002 while at home. He was given a three-year sentence, but was bailed out to receive medical treatment after serving one and a half years.

3. Ms. Wang Lanfang is from Qiansun, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County. She was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to four years in prison. She is detained at a labor camp in Jinan City. Further information is not available.

4. Mr. Liu Jingshen, from Shilipu, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to forced labor for three years. He was held at the Qiugu Labor Camp in Zibo City and has now been released.

5. Mr. Zhao Yongjian is from Shilipu, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County. He was sentenced to three years in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. He has been released.

6. Mr. Wang Gangyong, from Shilipu, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to two years in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. He has been released.

7. Mr. Li Yun, from Shilipu, Gaocheng Township, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to three years in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. He was released on medical bail.

8. Mr. Wang Baozhong, from Xiaojiao Village, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp for two years. He has been released.

9. Mr. Meng Fanzhong, from Shicao, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. He is detained at Zibo City's Qiugu Forced Labor Camp.

10. Mr. Meng Fancheng is from Shicao, Gaoqing County. He was sentenced to three years in prison. He is being held at the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp.

11. Ms. Zhang Jingmei, from Yongfu, Gaoqing County, was sentenced to a year in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp. She has been released.

12. Mr. Wang Bing, from the Transportation Bureau of Gaoqing County, was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. He was detained at the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp and has been released.

13. Mr. Guo Chenggang, from Cuizhang Village, Suo Township, Hengtai County, is serving a three-year sentence in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City.

14. Mr. Min Hongguang is from Suo Township, Hengtai County. He was arrested on October 1, 2000, after he unfurled a banner at Beijing's Tiananmen Square. He was then sent back to Hengtai County Public Security Bureau. He went on a hunger strike for 20 days and was later sentenced to five years of forced labor in November. He is now detained at the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp.

15. Mr. Rong Wenying is from Suo Township, Hengtai County. He was arrested in October of 2000 when he was distributing Falun Dafa articles. He was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. He is now detained at the Wang Village Detention Center in Zibo City. No other information is available.

16. Mr. Li Yuxiang is from Lijia Village, Gengqiao Township, Hengtai County. In late October, he was interrogated by the local police station about the source of the material he was distributing in September. He was only handing out Falun Dafa articles and books, and sharing experiences with fellow practitioners. In early November, he was given a three-year sentence in the Qiugu Forced Labor Camp. No other information is available.

17. Mr. and Mrs. Zhang Lin, from Tangshan Township, Hengtai County, were arrested on October 1, 2000 when he was unfurling a banner at the Tiananmen Square. They were later sent back to the Hengtai County Public Security Bureau in Zibo City. In early November, Mr. Zhang was sentenced to three years of forced labor. His wife and sister-in-law have been sentenced to two years at the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. No other information is available.

18. Ms. Li Cong, 22 years old, is from Hengtai County. She was detained on December 17, 2000 by the Zibo City Public Security Bureau. In February 2001, she was sentenced to three years of forced labor at the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp. No other information is available.

In addition, in May of 2005, on two occasions, the Hengtai County police and the Binhai Public Security Bureau went to Shengli Oilfield to arrest practitioners Zhang Aiquan, Wang Mingyuan and Yu Desheng who work at the oilfield.
