A Falun Gong Practitioner Must Let Go of Human Thoughts, Have Faith in Teacher and the Fa, and Truly Cultivate

(Clearwisdom.net) In terms of validating the Fa while cultivating ourselves, some Falun Gong practitioners do very well but others do not. Some Falun Gong practitioners exhibit righteous thoughts and actions but others do not. Some Falun Gong practitioners have transcended their humanness to validate the Fa, safeguard the Fa, save sentient beings and eliminate the evil during their cultivation in the Fa-rectification period, but others have not. The most critical, fundamental aspect is their level of faith in Teacher and the Fa.

With Teacher's boundless and compassionate power of the Fa, Teacher has created for all Falun Gong practitioners of the Fa-rectification period the many different types of environments for our cultivation practice at each stage of the Fa-rectification period. With His profound and infinite tolerance, Teacher is saving and transforming Falun Gong practitioners. Teacher teaches us the Great Law of the Universe and guides our cultivation practice. Meanwhile, Teacher endures for us the enormous karma we have accumulated, but can never fully repay. Teacher gives us the opportunity to be diligent and complete our cultivation practice in this life. Teacher has lectured on the Fa and answered questions about the Fa at different stages of our cultivation practice for the purpose of steering us to the right path. When we fail to transcend our humanness and thus take a fall, or when we go astray in our cultivation practice, Teacher forgives our mistakes and keeps giving us additional opportunities until we rectify these mistakes and do well as cultivators.

Every Falun Gong practitioner knows that Teacher is wonderful and that Falun Gong is wonderful. However, each of us has a different level of understanding of the Fa and a different level of righteous faith in Teacher. Consequently, each of us has given a different level of contribution to Teacher's Fa-rectification. When it comes to validating the Fa and offering the sentient beings Teacher's salvation, the differences are even far greater. Some Falun Gong practitioners continue to understand Teacher and the Fa out of human thoughts and sentiment. Their feelings of gratitude and praise for Teacher are deeply rooted in their human sentiment. Because Teacher has saved their lives and taken care of their families and relatives' lives, they always feel they can never repay Teacher's grace. They always talk about these things with tears in their eyes or with deep emotion. But when Teacher and Falun Gong are subject to the persecution and injustices, they dare not step out to seek justice for Falun Gong or validate the Fa by telling people about the personal benefits they have enjoyed from practicing Falun Gong. During China's persecution of Falun Gong, some of them have even succumbed to their fear and given up their cultivation practice. Some of them have joined the dark side and have become the persecutors of Falun Gong. Some of them are still hanging on to both their human interests and cultivation practice. These people are mired in their attachment to protecting themselves and their interests. In their cultivation practice, they remain vigilant at all times for any sign of danger. When the environment becomes adverse, they forfeit their faith and go into hiding. When the environment becomes less adverse, they emerge from hiding and act as a determined cultivator.

Since the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, those Falun Gong practitioners that treat cultivation practice with human thoughts have caused a lot of negative impact and loss. Meanwhile, they have taken a severe toll on the time and energy of the diligent fellow practitioners in their areas. As a result, those diligent practitioners are restricted in their truth-clarification work when offering people Teacher's salvation. Moreover, these practitioners who have been skirting over their cultivation practice have escalated the evil's persecution against those diligent and determined disciples. This is another form of interference to our mission of saving sentient beings.

We sincerely hope that those fellow practitioners who have not come forward on behalf of the Fa and who have not done well as disciples will stop failing Teacher's expectations and stop wasting everything Teacher has done and endured for us. You must grasp the remaining time to do the three things well. You must let go of your human thoughts to truly cultivate yourselves. We have waited millions of years to obtain the Fa and return to our true homes. We must cherish this precious opportunity that will never come again. We must also cherish the Fa.

As Falun Gong practitioners in the Fa-rectification period, the pivotal moment in the history of the universe, we must not think only of our personal cultivation practice. More importantly, we must think about saving people. We need to have people understand the evil persecution of Falun Gong and accept the wonderful truth about Falun Gong before the advent of the Fa-rectification in the human realm. Only the Fa can save all sentient beings.

It does not require any specific form in order to practice Falun Gong. It is more important that you clarify the truth with sincerity and devotion, that you truly attain the goal of saving people when you clarify the truth and that you continue to upgrade your xinxing and your understanding of the Fa during the truth-clarification work. If you cannot let go of the thought of life and death and your human attachments, you will not be able to transcend humanness to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. In other words, you are not a Fa-rectification period Falun Gong disciple. You are faking your cultivation while carrying the title of Falun Gong practitioner. You are also deceiving yourself. Because you do not let go of your human attachments, you will never be able to see the profound meanings of the Fa or its higher connotations. As a result, you are wasting your chance for true cultivation practice. More importantly, because of your mistakes, the infinite number of sentient beings in your world, along with their high expectations in you, shall be annihilated when the Fa rectifies the human realm.
