The Wise Choice Made by the Principal and the Homeroom Teacher

Several days ago, a teacher and Falun Dafa practitioner noticed that the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) Secretary of the class was collecting membership fees. After class, the teacher told the student not to do that any longer and to focus on his studies. When the student asked why not, the teacher told him about the issues regarding renouncing the CCP, the CCYL and the Chinese Young Pioneers raised in the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The student then said that it would be the last time he collected any membership fees and that he would like to help the whole class quit their memberships in the CCYL. A pamphlet promoting quitting the CCP was distributed among the students, instead.

However, a boy in the class who did not know the truth reported this to the authorities. The 610 Office staff went to the school immediately to investigate.

When the 610 Office was conducting its investigation, all the school leaders present, including the principal in charge of political education and the homeroom teacher, tried to help the practitioner. As a result, the 610 Office people did not find any proof. In the end, the principal invited the 610 officials into his office and gave examples of how kind and hard-working the practitioner was. He also expressed his sympathy for the practitioner, who had been persecuted for over six years. The principal said, "Of the over 200 teachers and staff in the school, everyone thinks that the teacher is a good person."

After this, the people from the 610 Office knew more about Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. The Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee in the area also spoke on behalf of the practitioner.

The 610 officials made a wise choice after the investigation and decided not to pursue the matter.
