Lawless Officials in Shengli Oilfield Refinery Who Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Incur Karmic Retribution (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 29, 2005, policeman Dong Ning of the Shengli Oilfield Binbei Police Station deceived Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dong Qiuju, the spouse of a Shengli Oil Drilling Plant employee, into going to the Binbei Police Station for an inquiry. The police then detained her at the station and searched Ms. Dong's house illegally. They took away a computer, a printer and other personal belongings. Ms. Dong is now being detained at the company run prison under a brainwashing program by the 610 Office.

Dong Qiuju is a Falun Gong practitioner who wants to become a better person by following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. She has done nothing illegal. She was arrested just because she had contact with another practitioner.

There are many other Falun Gong practitioners in Shengli Plant. These people are hard workers and conduct themselves according to Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. But since July 20, 1999 when Jiang Zemin's regime began to persecute Falun Gong, some Shengli Plant leaders have actively persecuted practitioners. The main persons responsible are: Li Zhenjiang, Deputy Party Secretary of Shengli Plant, Tan Zhang, plant manager, Liu Yongjiu, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, Chen Dong, Shengli Plant Police Station chief and Xia Baocheng, Shengli Plant Supply Department Chairman.

The Shengli Oilfield "610 Office", the CCP and the Binhai police organized a forced brainwashing program on the campus of Shengli Plant's technical training school. The program, headed by Li Zhenjiang and Xia Baocheng, instituted very harsh persecution against the practitioners. The practitioners were locked up in a small room, and their meals were handed in from a small hole in the door. So far, the brainwashing program has persecuted several dozen practitioners. For example, Mr. Yu Desheng of the Shengli Oilfield Supply Company was persecuted in 2004 in this program. Currently Mr. Yu is on the Huantai County police wanted list.

The Shengli Plant brainwashing program also keeps close contact with the Binhai Police Department. Whenever they want, the brainwashing program can bring police and even armed police to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. In the Chinese New Year of 2003, practitioner Shi Ning, a Shengli Oilfield Computer Center employee, and practitioner Xia Deyun of the Oilfield Geological Science Institute visited the detained practitioners in the brainwashing program. During their visit, the brainwashing session organizer called the Binhai police to come arrest Shi Ning and Xia Deyun. Shengli Oilfield 610 Office staff members tortured Shi Ning so severely that he almost died. Fearing that he might die in custody, they sent Shi Ning to the Oilfield Hospital. The doctors told them that he had little chance to survive. The 610 police dropped him off there and ran away. Relying on his strong faith in Dafa, Shi Ning quickly recovered. The police are now trying to capture him again.

Li Zhenjiang, a deputy party secretary, is even more rampant when he persecutes practitioners in Shengli Plant. In late July 1999, the Party organization in Shengli Plant issued an order to persecute Falun Gong. Under the order, plant manager Tan Zhang organized an attack on the home of retired worker Long Lianjing of the Second Oil Drilling Team. They cut open the steel gates and entrance door using a welding torch and smashed the windows in order to forcefully enter the house. They beat Long Lianjing so hard that he passed out. After that, the attackers carried Mr. Long to the plant's security office and laid him on the cold concrete floor. For several days, they did now allow him to eat or sleep. In October 2000, Bingbei Police Department head Bian Qingzhang and some other police again arrested Long Lianjing. They illegally detained him for nine months, and for over 50 days they did not allow his family to see him. In July 2001, they sent Long Lianjing to forced labor camp to serve two years. So far, the authorities have refused to stop the persecution of Long Lianjing. They even installed two video cameras to monitor Long's house.

Li Zhenjiang encouraged his subordinates to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. In July 2002, Li Zhenjiang told Shengli Plant senior citizen office manager Xia Songai to wait in a car near practitioner Luan Fenglin's house. When Mr. and Mrs. Luan returned from a supermarket, Xia Songai and several others arrested the couple and brought them to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp the same night.

Heaven's laws dictate that good and evil will both have due consequences. The persecution at Shengli Plant has seen the outcome of that principle. Here are some examples.

1) Shandong Province Deputy Governor Cai Qiufang (female) actively followed Jiang Zemin's regime to persecute Falun Dafa and practitioners. In February 2001, Cai Qiufang was promoted from the Standing committee member of Jiu San Society Shandong Province Branch to become a deputy governor. During the following four years, ten of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong suffered from various kinds of persecution, including long term surveillance, telephone bugging, brainwashing, forced labor camp and incarceration and numerous other tortures. In 2004, Cai Qiufang was diagnosed with liver cancer, but even after that, she did not get the message and continued to persecute Falun Dafa and practitioners. As a result, Cai died on September 17, 2005. She was 49.

2) Shengli Plant Disciplinary Committee Secretary Liu Yongjiu actively followed Jiang Zemin's regime to persecute Falun Dafa and practitioners. He died of a sudden illness in 2000.

3) Shangli Plant Manager Tan Zhang actively carried out instructions to persecute Falun Dafa. On July 26, 1999 at 3 p.m., he led some people in an attempt to arrest practitioner Long Lianjing. When they could not open the door, he forced his subordinates to cut the steel anti-theft door with a welding torch and broke into his house. Soon after, Tan Zhang began to suffer from a strange disease. As a result, his face was disfigured. He has not found a cure thus far.

4) Shengli Plant Police Section Head Chen Dong arrested many Dafa practitioners and sent them to detention centers and forced labor camps. On March 10, 2005, he was hit by a taxi and died a horrible death, in which his abdomen was sliced open.
