Don't Go to Extremes When Validating Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Before the persecution began, I was the general manager of a small manufacturing plant. However, since I did not understand the Fa from the Fa, I went to extremes and believed that the spreading of Dafa was the only thing that mattered and everything else was unimportant. As a result, I neglected the management of the plant. The evil took advantage of my omission and caused losses to the business. After the persecution began, I was arrested several times and sentenced to forced labor twice. I came back home towards the end of last year.

After coming home, I studied the Fa carefully with a pure heart, especially Master's lectures since July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. I understood through Fa-study that we should not go to extremes when validating Dafa. Otherwise, it would cause damage to the efforts of saving people, and this applies to both our behavior and thoughts.

In order to better clarify the truth and support my family financially, I formed a group of movers with two other Dafa practitioners and accepted difficult jobs that no one else was willing to do. Within a month, the management of the company changed their mind about Dafa, and the employees also looked at us with wonder and admiration.

The changes in our environment enabled us to better clarify the truth. When truck drivers from all over the country came to pick up their merchandise, I would take the opportunity to clarify the truth to them, telling them about how the evil CCP persecuted Falun Gong and how important withdrawing from the CCP is to their future.

Two months later, I changed my job, where I was in charge of material storage in a real estate development company. Due to my diligent work, the company later authorized me to purchase materials. This provided me a great opportunity to contact many people. I clarified the truth to everyone I met, trying to make everyone understand that Falun Dafa is good. For the ones who agreed to withdraw from the CCP, I would take their names and publish withdrawal statements for them on the Internet.

Once I went to a timber market to buy timber. My company's order was large and one or two suppliers could not meet our demand. Many sellers in the market approached me, trying to do business with me. Though on the surface they were interested in doing business, I knew they had all come for Dafa. I tried to keep a calm heart and looked for an appropriate way to clarify the truth. When one person handed me a cigarette, I refused and started my truth clarification by saying, "No thanks, I practice Falun Gong, so I don't smoke." At first many people did not believe I was truly a Falun Gong practitioner, and they asked many questions about the "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation" incident. I took the time to answer their questions until the truck came to pick up the timber. Many people asked me please come again and talk to them further.

Master has told us in Zhuan Falun,

"The majority of our Falun Dafa practitioners (that is, except for those professional practitioners) practice cultivation among everyday people. They therefore cannot avoid leading a normal life in ordinary human society and interacting with the society. Everyone has a job and must do it well."

I would like to suggest that all Dafa practitioners who are capable of working try their best to find a suitable job. This will solve their financial problems and lead to more opportunities to clarify the truth. No matter what happens in the human world, no matter how little time is left, we should always do the three things well without going to extremes.
