(Clearwisdom.net) In spite of an overcast sky and a steady autumn rain, Falun Gong practitioners from St. Petersburg have held rallies over the past several weekends to tell people the facts about Falun Gong and to appeal to people to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the vicious Chinese Communist Party. On October 15 and 22, practitioners spent their weekend in the subway stations around residential areas to hand out leaflets. Despite the rain, and people being in a hurry, practitioners still distributed lots of materials to passers-by.
People stopped to talk with the practitioners who were handing out fliers. Practitioners took this opportunity to explain what Falun Gong is and to tell them about the persecution happening in China. Workers from other former Soviet countries listened to and understood the truth. Pictures displaying the cruel torture inflicted on Chinese Falun Gong practitioners, and images of the persecuted Falun Gong children incited the sympathy of many people.

A lot of people were very moved by the practitioners' truth clarification efforts. Some of them actively helped to distribute leaflets. People really have changed and are now more open to Falun Gong.
