Yuying Becomes Living Proof of the Power of Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Yuying lives in a village in Hubei Province, and suffered from late stage carcinoma of uterus. Her cancer had spread all over her body and hospitals refused to accept her. All she could do was to wait for death to come. Her loved-ones were very sad since she was only in her 50's.

I met her just around that time and told her about Falun Dafa and how cultivating in Dafa could cure illness and maintain good health. She accepted what I told her and expressed that she wanted to practice. Since she had never gone to school and was illiterate, I read Zhuan Falun to her. She understood immediately that illness is caused by the karma accumulated through many life cycles and that the active pursuit of health would hinder her recovery. She knew that the miracle would happen if she only studied the Fa.

Thus, Yuying made up her mind and let go of her attachments to life and death. When her only intention became to study and practice this Great Law she had now learned, her health improved daily. After only a few days, she was able to go back to the fields to work. Yuying learned and practiced Dafa with a sincere heart. Now, she gets up at 5 a.m. every morning to practice the exercises and studies the Fa at night. She is fully recovered and her health is even better than before she contracted her disease.

Yuying's aunt is in her seventies and was really sad when she learned that her niece would die before her. When she saw how dedicated her niece had become to practicing Dafa, she said to me emotionally, "How can I thank you?" I said, "You should thank Master Li, thank Dafa!" Since then, the whole family has understood the truth about Dafa.

Amazingly, not only has Yuying regained her life through Dafa, but she can now also read many of the words in "Zhuan Falun", despite her illiteracy, after having listened to other practitioners' reading it every day.

After seeing Yuying's change, the other people in her village all changed their opinions about Falun Gong and came to know that Falun Dafa is good and that Jiang's regime is evil. Many of them also wanted to read Dafa books.

Yuying's family was not well off before her illness and after spending a lot of money on her illness, it became even harder for them to make ends meet. Even during the hot summer, they still used cotton blankets on their beds because they had nothing else. One day, I went to the store next to Yuying's home to buy her a summer sleeping mat. When the owner found out that I was going to give it as a gift to Yuying, he said to me with tears in his eyes, "You are all good people and do good deeds. Why is the government persecuting good people? How can I justify making a profit from you?" He insisted on selling me the mat at cost.
