I'm a farmer. Before I started cultivating I had Hepatitis B. My family didn't have enough money to pay for treatment of my disease, so I had to suffer. One day my daughter brought home the book, Zhuan Falun. I read it and liked it, so I continued to read. Completely unexpected, as I was reading, my Hepatitis B symptoms gradually disappeared.

I followed the instructions in The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa and started learning the exercises. Although I didn't do it very accurately and only did the exercises once a day, my changes were huge. One day I rode my bicycle to go to the market. I was passing lots of [other bicyclists] which surprised me because I was always the slowest one before and was always so tired. My physical changes were amazing. Dafa is so wonderful.

In the spring of 1999, the fellow practitioners in my city established a group practice site. More than ten people practiced together. Through studying the Fa, we all learned how to upgrade xinxing. But just when we first got to the state of diligent cultivation the persecution started. Our group practice site that was only two months old was closed. I felt very sad.

After I calmed down I thought, "I can't give up on Dafa. This Dafa is so good and Master purified my body. Giving up Dafa simply means giving up my own life. I want to follow Master. I want to listen to Master."

Since the persecution started on July 20, 1999, I always remembered in my heart what Master said,

"Let each and every thing be measured against the Fa. Only then, with that, is it actually cultivation." ("Solid Cultivation" from Hong Yin).

During the past several years, I have consistently and wisely done what a Dafa practitioner should do. With Master's protection, I walked relatively steadily up to today. I wanted to share the following several examples with fellow practitioners.

Through fellow practitioners in the city, I was able to receive Master's new lectures as well as the truth clarifying materials from Clearwisdom. This is an opportunity that Master benevolently helped create for us to rescue sentient beings. So, no matter how busy I was, during the day I did farm work and at night I rode a bicycle to the city 60 li (20 miles) away to get Dafa materials. The same night, I distributed some materials on my way home. I always thought in my heart, "Master is right by me. No one can touch me." So, no matter how dark it was, I never slowed down, and I was never tired.

I always went out at night to distribute the materials. I could always wake up at the time I planned. Rainy, windy or snowy days were days for me to take advantage of because usually there were less people outside and it was easier for me. One time it was snowing hard, and I rode my bicycle to a village fifteen li (5 miles) away to distribute truth materials. To my own surprise, I was able to successfully distribute several hundred of copies of materials very quickly. This was all due to Master's protection.

One night it was unusually dark. I was by the door of a family home in a village ten li (3.3 miles) away. Just as I slipped one piece of material into the door, I saw a person coming toward me. I thought if I stand up all of a sudden I would scare this person. Let me just squat by the wall and wait until the person passes by and don't let him see me. It turned out that the person was the host of this family. He opened the door and went in without noticing me. I thought that the righteous thoughts of Dafa practitioners who are walking on the divine path are becoming stronger and stronger. Our benevolent Master is always protecting the disciples.

The most difficult time was in 2001. The practitioner in the city that I was in contact with was arrested. The evildoers were rampant, and the source of the materials was cut off. I had to post messages on telephone poles, trees, under crossroads, by the road. I wrote anywhere that had many people nearby. I walked all over the place in the southern part of my county. I only had one purpose: To let everyone know Falun Dafa is great and Dafa and Dafa practitioners are indestructible. Later, my actions were brought to the attention of police. They went to my village to investigate, but were blocked by the village head. I know it was because of Master's protection.

After several months, the fellow practitioner's family and I went to visit her in the forced labor camp. The guard didn't allow us in. Their reason was that practitioners who weren't "reformed" were not allowed visitors. After we returned I discussed with fellow practitioners that we had to expose the evil and resist the persecution. So we bought a copying machine and supplies and started printing truth-clarifying materials. Although the effect was not as good as the materials from printers, it was better than nothing. In this way, during the three years our fellow practitioner was in prison I had a source of materials again.

During the three years this practitioner was in prison, we cooperated with each other. Once when I went to visit, the guard didn't let me in at first. So I sent forth righteous thoughts. Later he let me in without realizing it. I knew Master had strengthened me because I had brought Master's new lectures for the practitioner. During the three years, with Master's protection, wisdom from Dafa and help from people who got to know the truth, all of Master's lectures were delivered safely to the fellow practitioners in the forced labor camp. This was so critical for them because from reading the new lectures they knew how to be more steadfast in their belief. Some of them let themselves be "reformed" at one time and were able to correct themselves after they read the lectures.

Later, the environment improved. As long as one person had the lecture, within two days, everyone would have it. Although the evildoers were still rampant, they couldn't stop Dafa practitioners and it couldn't change Dafa practitioners' firm belief. From all of the examples above, I deeply realized that as long as Dafa practitioners have righteous thoughts and righteous actions nothing can stop us. The cooperation as a whole body is very critical. But it comes from the righteous thoughts of each Dafa practitioner and it comes from Dafa. If every practitioner can do the three things well, the evil will be eliminated and the sentient beings will be saved.

With the speedy progress of Fa rectification and the righteous thoughts of Dafa practitioners, the evil has become less and less, and there are more and more people who understand the truth. The environment is getting better and better. My wife understands that Dafa is grand. She has always supported me and helped me clarify the truth. In particular, when the evil persecution first started I went out to post posters. She helped me with the glue. I went to Beijing to validate Dafa. She bought me a new jacket and took me to the fellow practitioner's home sixty li (20 miles) away. She helped me clarify the truth and distribute Dafa bookmarks. Her sister's breast cancer disappeared because she sincerely recited, "Falun Dafa is great. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance are grand." She recited it as well and became stronger. Even during the busiest season, she who is in over 50 years old was able to work several days without getting tired. Even young people would complain about that kind of work. When people asked her why, she told them it was because she recited, "Falun Dafa is great. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance are great." No matter which practitioner's family needed help, my wife always offered her help without asking for anything in return. My son wasn't a practitioner. He was working far away from home. Whenever he felt uncomfortable he would recite Hongyin. My fourth brother was not a practitioner. But his VCD and motorcycle were used to help me validate Dafa. Both of them rode a motorcycle to distribute truth clarification materials for me. Regarding withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, even my family members who are not practitioners all withdrew from the CCP, Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.

There was a person who lived in the same village and worked in the town. His office was on my way to get the materials, so every time I delivered some materials to him. After he understood the truth he shared his materials with others. He always carried the Dafa bookmark with him. One day his boss and he went to the city and were stopped by the traffic police. He was let go and his boss was fined. His boss couldn't understand why. So he explained to his boss about the Dafa bookmark. Later, when his boss saw me, he asked me for a Dafa bookmark..

I often delivered truth clarifying materials to one of my relatives. Later he read Zhuan Falun and began practicing Falun Dafa. Now he is doing lots of work for Dafa.

The extraordinary things of Dafa reflected a lot on me. Every practitioner experiences this. Ever since the persecution I've been trying to do what a Dafa practitioner during the Fa-rectification period should be doing. Although these are not necessarily all having a huge impact, it is the persistence that is important. I am just believing in Master, believing in Dafa and listen to Master. Master purified my heart/mind. I know I still have not yet quite caught up with the more diligent practitioners. But I just wanted to write my experiences to share with practitioners to improve together, advance together, and fulfill our wish of consummating together.
