My Cultivation Experience
By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Northeast China
(Clearwisdom.net) Respectful greetings to Teacher! Greetings to all
fellow practitioners! After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, Teacher arranged for us to
go into Fa-rectification period cultivation from individual cultivation. This is
the biggest honor among all living beings of the cosmos, and it is also an
unprecedented event that will never happen again. During this period of time, I
have appealed to the provincial government for justice for Falun Gong, have gone
to Beijing, lost my job due to persecution, become homeless to avoid the
persecution, and experienced persecution after the cable television interception
in Changchun City on March 5, 2002 [this event refers to Dafa practitioners
successfully broadcasting truth clarification programs over the
cable television network]. I have experienced more than six years of
validating Dafa through many hardships. Every experience is the process of
letting go of the attachment of life and death; each experience is the process
of negating the old forces, each is the process of giving up oneself. At the
same time, each experience is the process of firmly believing in Teacher,
validating Dafa, assimilating to the Fa and choosing to be a god.
Every experience is the process of thoroughly remolding oneself again and every
experience is to be closer to home - the course of returning. Part 1 - I Choose Whatever Dafa Needs After the March 5 cable TV signal interception occurred in Changchun in 2002,
probably the only two truth-clarification materials production sites remaining
in Changchun were destroyed in July. However, Changchun Dafa practitioners were
not suppressed. The Fa was already rooted in the hearts of us Changchun
practitioners, the brutal persecution after the March 5 incident could only
quicken the destruction of the evil. Changchun Dafa practitioners' solid faith
in Teacher and Dafa are indestructible. Teacher said, "Never in history has someone who persecuted those with upright
faiths ever succeeded. All of this is merely to use the evil's performance
to solidify Dafa and remove cultivators' fundamental attachments so as to
free cultivators from the shackles of humanness and karma. All those who
have been weeded out are not true cultivators." ("Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts") Major materials production sites were destroyed. I immediately wondered, what
does this mean to us? What should I cultivate? My first thought was that I
choose to do whatever Dafa needs. It is very simple: continue doing what we are
doing. I thought this would also be the wish of all practitioners in Changchun. Responsibility and mission urged me to sacredly and calmly find practitioner
Q. After conversing with Q, I learned that the practitioner who taught him how
to run a truth clarification materials site was in a forced labor camp. But our
duty-bound sense of mission was solid, like a diamond and all-conquering. We
should cultivate in this way. Teacher said, "The Fa-rectification will definitely succeed, and Dafa disciples
will definitely succeed." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western
U.S. Fa Conference") First of all, we summarized the lessons according to the requirements of the
Fa. Major materials production sites were too visible, were under a lot of
pressure, and were the focus of the evil's attention. While we were all waiting,
relying on and wanting the materials, practitioners who worked at the production
site were under great pressure. Meanwhile, they also needed to take care of the
materials for their local areas, and several also needed to care for the needs
of other areas. In addition, the invisible thoughts all practitioners sent out
were to defeat the old forces. They took into consideration that the materials
production site was the place that the evil paid the most attention to, but all
production sites had problems after the persecution began. The pattern had
already been formed. Because of these factors, practitioners at the truth
clarification materials production site were consistent in Fa study in the
beginning, but due to many factors and pressures, they gradually developed
attachments: attachments to doing things, to material gain, the attachment of
feeling special and so on. This caused them to be unable to calm down to study
the Fa. All sorts of conflicts among practitioners followed, which were actually
in accordance with the old forces' arrangements. Aren't these problems caused by
Dafa practitioners' hearts? Of course those practitioners had their loopholes,
but they also endured and sacrificed for us. According to the requirements of the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, materials
production sites should be broken up into parts, blossom out all over, yet
maintain contact with each other - a "great way without form," but
there is one body. This blossoming is not tangible, but through it, every
practitioner's heart truly comes out. What's important is the process of
everyone participating and saving sentient beings; this is the manifestation of
every practitioner's Buddha nature after enlightening to the Fa from the heart.
We had no equipment, no skills, only our hearts. Moreover, we could not stop
supplying Minghui Weekly during the week of the intense persecution
following the cable TV incident. Responsibility and mission strongly urged me to
walk my own path in the Fa. Since then, we began to help truth clarification
materials production sites blossom all over. For a while, the material production sites sprang up everywhere like bamboo
shoots after the rain. People in rural areas learned how to use computers in
four days. A 70-year-old woman learned how to use a computer in two weeks, and
then an 80-year-old senior citizen and students learned how to use computers. I
also began from zero, same as the other practitioners, knowing nothing. But we
had our hearts in the Fa , we persevered in validating Dafa and saving sentient
beings. Later, I knew as a matter of fact that Changchun Dafa practitioners also
enlightened to the understanding that materials production sites should blossom
all over. Just like Teacher told us: "If every one of you can understand the Fa from the depths of your
mind, that will truly be the manifestation of the Fa whose power knows no
boundary--the reappearance of the mighty Buddha Fa in the human world!"

from Essentials for Further Advancement) In the following days of sites blossoming all over, Teacher's compassionate
protection manifested everywhere! We are particles of Dafa, the Fa is
omnipotent, and so are we. When we truly change our human notions fundamentally,
the things we do manifest the difference between a human and a god. Regarding the widespread blossoming of materials production sites, the base
point must be that a Dafa practitioner's heart is on the Fa, not on doing
things, and on cultivating oneself. Whenever practitioners wanted to learn, we
first shared our understandings on the Fa, to have a clear starting point, and
then started teaching and learning. Moreover, we often reminded each other about
our understandings of the Fa: we are cultivating. One practitioner had installed
operating systems on two notebook computers, but had technical problems. So we
looked inward and examined our xinxing. We discovered that
originally when she purchased the notebooks, she added in human things. After we
found the cause of the problem, the installation problems of the notebooks were
immediately solved. Due to the destruction of a local materials production site, a practitioner
from another area came to share with us about this issue (this practitioner did
not know how to produce the materials, and only did distribution). During our
sharing, we found this practitioner was relatively stable in her understanding
of the Fa and suitable for producing materials, so we shared understandings with
her about "materials production sites blossoming everywhere." A week
later, she learned how to get on the Internet using a notebook computer. Several
months after she went back to her area, she was instrumental in setting up local
materials production sites everywhere. That is to say: maintaining a big truth
clarification materials production site and distributing across a wide area is
not the aim. Only by setting up local production sites all over can we
fundamentally solve the issue of having a continuous source of truth
clarification materials. However, only the genuine improvement of Dafa
practitioners' hearts can guarantee the stable operation of materials production
sites. After the March 5 incident in 2002, policemen inspected key practitioners'
homes one by one. At one practitioner's home, the police checked the computer,
found nothing and left. Afterwards, their child came home from school, turned on
the computer, and found all the Dafa materials still there. The whole family
instantly made the heshi gesture to pay their respect to Teacher! After we had been running the materials production sites for over a year, we
met two practitioners who were technical experts. When they found out about our
software and system setup, they were surprised, smiled and shook their heads in
amazement. They just could not believe it. We actually had no delays in our
production and thought we did great. This was because we had no human notions to
block the smooth operation of our work. We learned everything from scratch, and
everyone filled several notebooks with notes. We did not know how to install a
driver for the printer, so we asked Teacher for help, and installed it - it
was like a miracle. One practitioner reinstalled an operating system on a
computer for a 70-year-old lady, but forgot to install the driver for the
printer. When she was using it, she could read the notes written by the
practitioner for many steps of the operation, but the notes did not cover
everything. So she begged Teacher: "Teacher, please help me!" When I
arrived, she excitedly told me, "Teacher helped me to install it!" There are a great many small stories of a supernatural nature, turning danger
into safety. Some we may not have even yet realized. Teacher told us in Lunyu: "'The Buddha Fa' is most profound; among all the theories in
the world, it is the most intricate and extraordinary science. In order to
explore this domain, humankind must fundamentally change its conventional
thinking. Otherwise, the truth of the universe will forever remain a mystery
to humankind, and everyday people will forever crawl within the boundary
delimited by their own ignorance." For several years, our experience has grown out of nothing. From knowing
nothing, we moved to doing simple things, from single to multiple things, from
multiple things to improvement of quality, to mastery. All of these are done
through Teacher. Actually as we are all in the Fa, and as long as we comply with
the cosmic characteristic, believe in Teacher and the Fa, and solidly do the
three things well, then the evil will have no environment to exist.
Teacher did not arrange its participation in the Fa-rectification: "Whoever
touches it commits a sin." (" Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa
Conference in North America") Therefore, the only thing Dafa practitioners
have a role in is saving people. Regardless of whether it was cold or hot, or whether the evildoers were
closing in on sensitive dates, I moved quickly on the path of saving
people. I often thought of Teacher's poem: Righteous Thought, Righteous Action Great enlightened beings are not afraid of hardship (Hongyin II) (Draft translation) Part 2 - Cultivating Myself in Coordination Work Truth-clarification materials production sites springing up everywhere
created an environment and laid a foundation for Fa study groups to spring up
everywhere as well. The coordination issue that came along with it was also an
essential part of Fa-rectification period cultivation; to achieve consistent
coordination as one body and to create an environment for improving as a whole
is an issue involving everybody cultivating together. Everyone is a coordinator;
this is a requirement for Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. The
coordination in the process of forming one body was different than during the
period when materials sites were springing up everywhere. The cultivation
content was different, the attachments exposed were different, and the
requirements were also different. 1. Taking the Fa as the Teacher In the cultivation process of forming one body, the issue of "taking the
Fa as the teacher" was something I recalled with eternal gratitude in the
coordination work. In Fa-rectification period cultivation, we often hear fellow
practitioners mention "taking the Fa as the teacher." Just as its name
implies, this involves weighing things according to Dafa's standard. However, it
is not that easy in cultivation. After a short period of time, we realized the necessity of breaking through
the gaps between practitioners caused by the old forces, and rebuilding the
destroyed cultivation environment. We must not leave even one practitioner
behind. Our goals were to help more practitioners truly step out in the Fa,
creating a cultivation environment for collective advancement in the Fa-rectification
period, and aiming at doing the three things better. This required continuous
sharing with practitioners. The Practitioners Exchange Insights and Experiences
section on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website published an article about
practitioners in a certain nearby area advancing and improving together. The
article shook me at a time when we needed it most. Practitioners from that area
came to visit us. After they introduced their Fa-rectification format and
overall situation, we reminded each other that we must take the Fa as master at
our most critical moments, and walk our own paths according to the requirements
of Dafa and the present situation. Although we did not want to imitate that other area, in the overall
coordination and my thoughts, I considered several experiences from the
Practitioners Exchange Insights and Experiences section on Minghui as guidance
articles. In fact, I already admired the nearby area, I read about on the
website and was taking it as a model. Subconsciously and to different degrees,
other coordinators also had the same insight on this issue. One person, two
people, soon everybody thought the same way. Wouldn't this push that area to a
dead end? That area soon had an accident, and I realized it had been caused by
the problems in our hearts. This was a lesson that could not be ignored. There
are no role models in cultivation. There is only solid cultivation taking the Fa
as master. We learned to take the Fa as the teacher after suffering a huge loss in this
incident. I will remember it forever. I found my fundamental attachment -
dealing with our progress as one body with human notions, not weighing things
according to the Fa. As a matter of fact, whether a practitioner (or an area) does well can only
be weighed according to the Fa. If they truly cultivate well, from the basis of
the Fa, it is not because they are good people, but because they have studied
the Fa well. They have complied with the requirements of the Fa so they can do
well, and the manifestations of the Fa can be displayed. There is nothing
without the Fa. However if when you try to find an answer, you don't look at it
from the Fa's perspective, but simply look at how others behave at the human
level, ignoring the factors of the Fa, you are actually taking humans as the
master, not the Fa. Cultivation is serious. It is very important to take the Fa
as master at all times to avoid losses. This is what Fa-rectification period
Dafa disciples should do. I did not take the Fa as the teacher on this issue. Looking at the root of my
attachment, I thought myself infallible. The essence behind this mentality was
regarding myself as important, validating myself and ignoring the Fa, and
allowing notions formed in the evil party's culture long ago to control my
thoughts. Where did I put the Fa at that time? I already had one foot over the
edge of the cliff! It was very dangerous. Only by studying the Fa well can I
achieve sobriety from the Fa, can I weigh issues with righteous Fa-principles
soberly and comprehensively, and not be driven astray. Therefore, "taking
the Fa as the teacher" is a big lesson for me. 2. Great Cultivation Way without Form A "great cultivation way without form" and a loose administration
is the cultivation way of Falun Dafa. Actually everyone is a coordinator. Just
like Teacher's gong, someone does this while the other does that in Fa-rectification;
everyone is walking on their own path arranged by Teacher, and everyone must
enlighten to what one should. Nobody can replace another. Everything has been
arranged; we can act according to this divine arrangement. Whatever project we
do, we are cultivating, someone must be the coordinator: we have an idea, use
the Fa to judge, and if it complies with the Fa, then we can go ahead; this is
what we need to understand. Teacher said: "For Dafa disciples as a whole, in the process of validating the Fa,
when you work together in concert, the Fa power is great. Whether you're doing
things as a group or doing things individually, what you're doing is the same
kind of thing, and that's what we mean by one entity. You're all clarifying
the truth, sending righteous thoughts, and studying the Fa, so the specifics
of the things you're doing are different but the division of roles is orderly,
together there's a form, and separated there are particles."
("Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa
Conference") Although I dislike formality, I greatly admired the one-body formation in
areas that have relatively better Fa-rectification situations. While I hoped we
could do better Fa-rectification work, in fact I was already pursuing formality
and buried the hidden danger, treating Dafa work with human notions. I brought
everyday people's working ideas, methods and coordination learned from the
party's evil culture into Dafa work, and regarded cultivation as work. Luckily,
large numbers of practitioners steadily measured every step according to the Fa,
showing their solid cultivation on the Fa. From this, I found my gaps on this
issue. I realized that nobody can represent the whole, nobody can control the
whole, because one body represents Dafa practitioners' hearts but doesn't mean
all have the same form. Together there is a form, and separated there are
particles. I am just one of the particles. I enlightened to the understanding that the Fa contains everything, and there
is no need to factitiously do anything We should simply follow Teacher's
requirement, allow nature to take its course, and move in the natural automatic
mechanism of the Fa - everything is in it. However, as a coordinator, I must,
together with fellow practitioners, create a solid and genuine cultivation
environment in the Fa-rectification period, lead practitioners to take the Fa as
the teacher, understand things based on the Fa, improve on the Fa as a whole,
and do the three things well. These are the true manifestations and functions of
a coordinator. However, a "great cultivation way without form but exists as
a whole" is the need of Fa-rectification in the cosmos; all Dafa
practitioners need to understand this. 3. Letting Go of Myself When I positioned myself correctly in Dafa cultivation, letting go of myself
was not an issue. When I clearly realized based on the Fa that we are one body,
I no longer emphasized myself. At this point, it was as if I took a thick shell
from my body, and I became so relaxed. I suddenly understood: Teacher had
actually arranged everything for us; we just need to cultivate ourselves. After I had done coordination work for a while, I gradually realized I had an
attachment of feeling special among others, and factitiously arranged Fa-rectification
work. I was validating myself. If you mentioned one body, it meant us,
practitioners as a whole; but that attachment to myself was visibly expanding.
It manifested in dictating allocation of work, putting more value on my own
opinion, not acknowledging the one body (intentionally or unintentionally), and
protecting the "one body" established by myself. Actually, I was
essentially protecting myself. After I enlightened to the issue of "taking
the Fa as the teacher" and to the concept of a "great way without
form," the problem of letting go of myself was readily solved. I remember a fellow practitioner wrote an experience sharing called
"Oneself is the Adversary of One Body." Being capable of letting go of
oneself in coordination is the basis of coherent coordination as a whole, while
studying the Fa well and looking inwards is the guarantee of letting go of
oneself. Recently I have come to admire very much those practitioners who are
unnoticeable, unknown to the public but who are quietly doing the three things
with great diligence. Part 3 - Rectifying Myself by Looking Inward Teacher said in Zhuan Falun: "Without knowing the Fa at high levels, one cannot practice
cultivation. Without cultivating one's inner self and one's xinxing, one
cannot increase gong. These are the two reasons." Since I started to practice Falun Gong in April 1995, I have been solidly
cultivating according to the Fa principles, especially with regards to the
attachments to fame, self-interest and qing. I have thereby
established a strong foundation in personal cultivation for Fa-rectification
cultivation. Before I became a Falun Gong practitioner, I was disgusted by the
interpersonal relationships in Chinese society. Such things did not interest me.
It was like an invisible meat chopper that brutally mangled people and caused
great pain. After I started practicing Dafa, I first off abandoned my notion of
interpersonal relationships formed postnatally, whether in society or at home. I
gave up human notions, and instead chose to be a god. As a result, without this
notion, I felt a layer of crust come off of my thoughts. My body and mind were
so relaxed. I required myself to comply with the cosmic characteristics of
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" at all times. Not only was my
work very efficient, my achievements were also outstanding. Hence I was praised
by cadres and colleagues alike. My work environment became peaceful and loose.
My thoughts also became simpler, relaxed and not distracted. I simply wanted to
comply with the cosmic characteristics and be more than just a good person. Of
course this also requires contribution and sacrifice, exactly as written in Zhuan
Falun, where Teacher says that cultivation is, "more difficult than
anything of ordinary people." However, it was really a kind of self-upgrade
to free myself from human notions. More accurately, it was a rebirth. While the everyday things could not touch me, a conflict came up among
practitioners. It manifested as a conflict between us and practitioner A,
especially between practitioner A and me. I considered myself as having a good
foundation in personal cultivation. As long as I looked inwards, no problem
could turn me back. Forbearance! I thought, when I look inwards, she will
change. When I had good xinxing, I could remain kind and tolerant.
Whenever I felt my endurance reached its limit, I could no longer remain kind
and tolerant. It seemed as if I could tolerate my own careless mistakes, but
lost patience with other practitioners. This situation lasted for a while, and even involved the energy of
practitioners in other areas. I realized that I must have problems, and must
solve them. I found that I had taken advantage of the Fa, once there was the
slightest sign of trouble, I hurried to look inside myself. Sometimes the
attachments were frightened away but not essentially given up; otherwise we
would not have this problem. Practitioners close to me sat down together and seriously looked inside. This
problem had lasted so long because we had already formed a notion about the
issue and it was controlling our thinking; not only mine, but a group of
practitioners. Through Fa study and sharing, plus seriously looking inwards, we
found that our previous looking inward was conditional. Therefore, we were
actually looking outside. It was not accidental to have this thinking pattern
for so long. First, we had a fundamental attachment in our minds and brought it
into Dafa cultivation. We thought Dafa cultivation was a pure land, away from
worldly affairs, so we could cast off all interpersonal fighting done for fame
and gain. Hence, initially we regarded this phenomenon as a reflection of
ordinary people's bad habits that were present everywhere in today's society, so
we looked inward with the everyday people's mentality of being above the matter.
This made me believe that I was right, that I had passed through the personal
cultivation period. I thought "I have already looked inside, so she should
change." Actually this mentality had formed an attachment. It was this
formed notion that kept us from truly understanding the Fa from within the Fa,
and we even felt in our hearts that it was unfair. Teacher said in "A Dialogue with Time"
from Essentials for Further Advancement: Master: There are also such people among veteran disciples. And the most
outstanding evidence of that is that they always compare themselves with
humans and with their own past, but fail to examine themselves with the
requirements of the Fa at different levels. Divine Being: These problems have already become very serious. It would be
good if they could manage to search within themselves for the things that they
have been able to find in others. Everything is caused by my own heart. I looked inside and completely
dissected myself. I found that I still retained an evil element of the CCP's
culture and have postnatal notions. I think highly of myself. I think I am great
and competent. I like to hear only good words about me. I like to compete and
win, never looking at my own problems in a big way. I'm over-confident. I hold
myself above other practitioners, and only conditionally listen to different
opinions. I have a strong attachment to obtaining approval. When jealousy
emerges, it is ugly. Superficially I have hypocrisy from the evil party culture.
I am narrow-minded, and am the type of strong woman popular in the deceptive
culture of the CCP. When I wrote this part, I heard new things about myself. I felt like I'd been
hit with a sledgehammer. The feeling overwhelmed me. I have been practicing for
nearly eleven years, and considered myself to be solid in my personal
cultivation. But when pain came and struck me, especially when it struck my
stubborn human notions, I collapsed at the first blow. I felt as if an invisible
talon was stubbornly holding me. Enduring the pain adds more to the disaster. I
struggle. I suffer. I feel I am going to collapse! A voice wails, "You
already have a mass of cuts and bruises. You do not have to dig further or
suffer more!" In pain, I beg Teacher. It seems to be better. My divine side
requests that I examine myself again: touch the thing that I fear to touch the
most. I catch it: it is "fame," the attachment of hoping to be
recognized; it is still fame - the fame of a cultivator, the attachment of
hoping not to be denied. To care about it, pay too much attention to it, that's
it! Like a stubborn rock being turned over after so long. If not dealt with at
this level, it immediately goes to protect the next level, like an old slippery
thing protecting itself with instinct. Today I completely expose myself. I sent
out a strong wish from the bottom of my heart: Teacher! I don't want it! Here I
instantly took off layer upon layer of the shell, and my heart relaxed and
became calm. Teacher mentioned about looking inwards: "If a person can do that, I'd say that on this path--on this path of
cultivation--and for the eternity of his existence, nothing can stop him. It's
truly the case." ("Lecture at the Conference in Singapore")
(Draft translation) My previous base point was expecting others to change, but I did not want to
change myself. When I adjusted my point of view based on the Fa, I now have a
different way of viewing the problem. Instead of looking at others, I no longer
care who he is. Regardless of who he is, there must be something for me to
cultivate from his suggestion. I should not be ambiguous. His divine side is
clear, and what he touches is the part that I fear to be touched the most. It is
not my true self, otherwise, I wouldn't be moved. It can now truly be "the
Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities." What
I protected were my notions and my attachments, the substances that fear to be
exposed the most. Actually I was protecting myself. When I changed my base
point, I had an essential breakthrough in examining myself. Daring to negate
oneself with a cultivator's righteous thoughts, even if I negate it with a mass
of bruises and have nothing left, only the most inborn trueness will be
revealed. On the path of cultivation, no matter what kind of different opinions you
hear, it is all Dafa harmonizing you. After you improve through harmonizing, you
are also harmonizing the Fa. As Teacher said in "Expounding
on the Fa": "Dafa is harmonizing all sentient beings, and all sentient beings are
also harmonizing Dafa." ("Expounding on the Fa" from Essentials
for Further Advancement) Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference
in New York": "If you are able to step out of the reasoning and attachments of
ordinary people, then you are a god." Part 4 - Fundamentally Denying the Old Forces In those days filled with red horror during the "March 5" incident
in 2002, I became homeless and destitute to avoid persecution. I had a dream one
day. In the big yard of a hotel in Changchun, a man was making gestures and
making a pre-battle mobilization report. A woman with short hair, wearing an
army uniform from the Yan'an period, was also waving her arms and yelling
commands, moving forces and arranging for battle, saying: "Enforce Yan'an
Plan No. 8." Many brigades of fully armed soldiers anxiously and
mechanically jogged and rushed in four directions. At the same time, a big group
of Dafa practitioners including me were sitting a short distance from them with
our heads lowered. I angrily held my fists tight: Chinese XX Party! It
devastates my heart. I wish I could crumble it in my hand! From the mindset in the dream, it can be seen that I was dealing with the
persecution with human notions. However, after I read Teacher's "Touring
North America to Teach the Fa," I enlightened that there are two paths in
front of us. One is the path returning to one's true self in Fa-rectification
period cultivation. This is the path arranged by Teacher. The other one is the
path of destruction that is thoroughly arranged by the old forces. By
understanding the Fa principles, I was forged by "Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance." It is my historical wish to walk on the path arranged by
Teacher, to firmly refuse to follow the old force path. All of sudden, I felt
the old forces collapse, and its path also disappeared. Teacher told us: "We negate even the very emergence of the old forces and everything
that they've arranged; we don't even acknowledge their existence. We're
fundamentally negating all of their things, and all of, and only, the things
you do while negating and getting rid of them is mighty-virtue."
("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference") During the March 5 incident in 2002, my younger sister could not find me, so
she found a fortune teller. My sister is not a practitioner. The fortune teller
said, "Alas! This person has no home." I was clearly aware the old
forces had systematically arranged my cultivation. They attempted to arrest me
and take me to a brainwashing center in 2001, leading me to homelessness, my
illegal arrest on March 5, 2002, an attempt at abduction in 2003, the
blacklist...and so on. Yet, they did not succeed because I do not acknowledge
them! I have none of these things in my true life. Well then, what is negating the old forces? After I read, "Teaching the
Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A." I understood that
negating the old forces is to do things according to the requirements of the Fa.
I enlightened to the understanding that I should not be destitute. I should go
home to validate Dafa, negate the old forces, and not acknowledge their
arrangements. The next day, I returned home. Negating the old force arrangements must be complete and fundamental. The
evil has no connection with us. The Fa-rectification did not arrange its
participation. Whoever interferes with Fa-rectification commits sins. However,
if we are not to be taken advantage of due to long-term existing human notions,
the precondition is that we must not have loopholes. As long as the persecution
has not ended, the evil will exist. The recent persecution of practitioners in a certain nearby area shocked me a
lot. The bloody lesson left me with many thoughts. The incident is more severe
than any previous experience I've had in six years of persecution. What's the
cause of such severe persecution today while the evil has been massively
eliminated? What should we cultivate? What shortcoming, loophole or hidden
trouble do we still have? Am I in the Fa? What's the direction as a whole? Such
a big destructive power, where are our responsibilities? I clearly realized that this persecution is not humans against humans, it is
the battle between good and evil in other dimensions. It is about
unconditionally examining oneself, looking for one's shortcomings, one's
loopholes, fundamental attachments, letting go of all human notions, and so on.
It is about eliminating hidden trouble, not leaving any space for the evil.
Meanwhile, I sent out a steadfast thought: even if we have loopholes, it has
nothing to do with evil. Firmly believe in Teacher and Dafa. Keep our xinxing
in compliance with the requirements of the Fa. Everything of mine is in
Teacher's arrangement. Teacher said, "I am rooted in the universe. If anyone can harm you, he or she would
be able to harm me. Put simply, that person would be able to harm this
universe." (Zhuan Falun) Part 5 - A Life Lived for Others A fellow practitioner said, "Writing experience sharing articles is like
undergoing surgery." Indeed, I have deep feelings about it. Leave the good
things and remove the bad things. Completely clear things away, like removing a
tumor. Once again be reborn and return to one's true self. Moreover, it is easy
to write about those areas where we have cultivated well on the Fa. It is so
pure and comfortable. Where you get stuck or still have a problem, it is
uncomfortable to write about it. Therefore we are cultivating, not simply
writing the experience sharing reports. As a cultivator, I often ask myself: "Are you a genuine practitioner?
Can you give up everything for sentient beings? Have you realized the sacred
mission of a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple? Do you realize the Fa-rectification
period has come to the final period? Are you really anxious to save sentient
beings? Are you truly worried for sentient beings?" Speaking honestly, the heart of following Teacher home is solid and
unchangeable. However, in cultivating selflessness, considering others first,
and living for others according to the standards of the Fa, my heart is not
pure. To put it another way, I have not made eternal, natural and essential
changes. Experiencing more than six years of validating the Fa through hardships, I
have clearly realized that what we do and how much we do is not important.
Instead, what Teacher wants us to harmonize is whether we achieve the
requirements of Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples in every experience and
process; whether we are truly selfless and consider others first; whether we
truly offer salvation to sentient beings and live for others, and whether we
fulfill our historic wishes and achieve the standards of the new cosmos.
