The Story of My Son Learning Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) My 25-year-old son is very handsome. He graduated from a military college, and is now a first lieutenant. Because he witnessed my mother and me regaining our health after practicing Dafa, he had a positive attitude towards Dafa. I understand that sentient beings have been waiting for thousands of years to find the Fa, and his being my son is not a random event. I wished my son would learn Falun Dafa, too. However, he could only read 100 pages of Zhuan Falun when he read it the first time.

Last summer, a minor operation let my son taste pain and powerlessness for the first time. Seeing this, my mother and I sent the same thought together: let my son find the Fa. I told him about the miraculous nature and benevolence of Dafa when I looked after him in the hospital. I recited the poem Dafa's Journey from Hong Yin II to my son. He was able to memorize it after repeating after me a few times, and he put the poem into his cell phone.

He recovered within a week. I asked him to read Zhuan Falun after he returned home. He did not reject the idea this time. During the first two days, he always felt tired when he picked up the book and quickly fell asleep. I knew that this was interference for him, so I sent forth righteous thoughts to help clear up his surroundings when this happened. He used to suffer from constipation. He had to defecate a couple of times each day after reading the book one time, and his muscles ached. I told him that the book says that the Teacher is cleansing your body and he was already benefiting.

I asked him to read the book a second time. He said: "I never read any book more than once. I already know what the book says; I don't want to read it again." I said, "This is not an ordinary book. Why do so many Dafa practitioners maintain their beliefs under such a negative circumstance? Because they know the truth." My son picked up the book and started to read it again. He said to me, "This is weird. I have read the first one hundred pages three times, why do I feel I haven't read them at all?" He read the book twice within ten days.

When my son had to report to his unit, I accompanied him to the railway station. He told me about a dream he had, "You and Grandma tell me to wait for you at a certain place before a certain time. But I can't find the place anywhere. I become very nervous and keep searching on the street. Later I suddenly realize that this question requires a different way of thinking and I find out that place is just beside me, and I find it immediately. Then I see you and Grandma walking towards me from a distance, and you both take me into the sky."

I felt so happy for him, and said, "That's right, son, you are so fortunate. Do remember Falun Dafa is good and remember Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

One more life is saved. I know that all of this was arranged by our Teacher.
