Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Hao Wenmin from Wei County, Hebei Province Tortured To Death
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Hao Wenmin from Wei County, Hebei Province passed
away on October 15, 2005 after the Handan City Forced Labor Camp brutally
tortured him and caused him to be seriously disabled and ill. Mr. Hao Wenmin, 44 years old, was from Hexia Village, Chengguan town, Wei
County, Handan City in Hebei Province. Since July 20, 1999, the Wei County 610
Office and police continually harassed Hao Wenmin because he did not give up his
belief in Falun Dafa. He was illegally detained twice. Mr. Hao went on a hunger
strike to protest the persecution. Because his life was in danger, the
authorities had to send him to the hospital for emergency treatment. In May 2002, the Wei County Police Department tricked him into going to the
police department and illegally detained him in the Handan City Forced Labor
Camp for further persecution. During his detention in the labor camp, Hao Wenmin was forced to stand
continuously for more than 20 days and was not allowed to sleep for more than
three months. The police left him exposed to the sun, hit him and used electric
batons to beat him. This ill treatment put his life in grave danger many times,
and he was twice sent to the Fifth Hospital in Handan City for emergency
treatment. In April 2004, Hao Wenmin was released. Because of the long-term brutal
persecution, his body and mind suffered greatly, and he could no longer work.
His health worsened day by day. In September 2005, Hao Wenmin was sent to the Wei County Hospital for
emergency treatment. The examination results showed severe anemia, and his
kidney, liver, intestines, stomach and urinary tract were all infected. Hao
Wenmin passed away on October 15, 2005. (Note: When Hao Wenmin was detained in the Handan City Forced Labor Camp, he
may have been injected with unknown drugs. In September 2005, three police from
the Handan City Forced Labor suddenly came to see Hao Wenmin and they told him
that he would certainly not live out the rest of the year.)
