The Importance of Regarding the Fa as Teacher with Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions

(Clearwisdom.net) Since truth-clarification material production sites were launched in my local area in 2001, I learned and mastered various techniques, including preparing screen prints, machine maintenance, and using state-of-the art printers. I did not overlook any techniques. My thoughts at that time were: We must not let dark minions and rotten demons create technical barriers for us. Therefore, I was very dedicated to solving technical problems. However, through this mentality I was actually making excuses for an attachment to techniques. Influenced by this strong attachment, the truth-clarification materials site encountered many kinds of interference, although we were able to keep it running. Very often the machine had problems, was fixed, had problems again, was fixed again, and so on. The situation continued like this until 2003.

Later we read some articles on Clearwisdom.net about the righteous thoughts and righteous actions of practitioners rescuing machines in materials sites. I felt we did not do well, and shared my understandings with practitioners that I worked with. Why did we not experience the magnificence of Dafa in our materials site? At that time, our understanding was that we should look inward immediately when problems arose. But by failing to identify the excuses that the evil used to persecute us, that is, our loopholes, we allowed the interference to continue constantly. Whenever interference came, we would hurriedly look inward to see if we had acted improperly here or done wrong there, and would intensify sending forth righteous thoughts, hoping the machine would start to work immediately. However, as we were focusing on solving individual problems, we also created new problems. As a result, not only did the machine not recover immediately, the interference even became worse. The biggest excuse for me to protect my attachment to techniques was, "My righteous thoughts are not as strong as other practitioners'." In this way, I did not see my righteous thoughts work, but could see my technical skills were sometimes effective. Thus, we spent the year 2004 in worry, pain, frustration and helplessness.

The truth-clarification materials site could no longer continue like this.

After sharing with fellow practitioners, we had the following understandings:

1. Since the materials production site is a vital part of truth-clarification efforts, we can never allow the evil, dark minions and rotten demons to make excuses for these so-called tests. They are also not qualified to do this.
2. A Dafa disciple differs from an everyday person in looking inward. Whether vicious interference appears or not, a Dafa practitioner needs to look inward and always rectify him or herself to assimilate to the cosmos's nature of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." This is the way it should be, rather than looking inward only upon encountering persecution or to solve certain problems. If we cannot do this, we are still following the evil's arrangements, and we are likely to see the phenomena that "righteous thoughts seemingly have no effect."
3. As to the interference and persecution of the materials sites by the evil, we need to regard the Fa as Teacher with righteous thoughts and righteous actions. We must not continually consider things with human notions. With the attachment to techniques, it is like curing an illness with western medicine, that is, dealing with the superficial issues rather than the roots. However,

"The root cause of their problem and all their misfortune is karma, that black-matter karmic field." (Zhuan Falun 2003, The Seventh Talk)

Plus, Teacher mentioned long ago that "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful." (Essentials for Further Advancement II)

After coming to such understandings, we put off the urgent "tasks" and spent three days studying the Fa together (three lectures per day), without any pursuit of solving specific problems. Meanwhile, we also intensified sending forth righteous thoughts, for one hour each time. When sending forth righteous thoughts, instead of thinking "eliminate the evil that interferes with our local material sites," we had the thought of "eliminate all evil that damages Dafa, disintegrate all of the dark minions and rotten demons, destroy all elements of the Communist evil specter and all of its evil factors in other dimensions, encompass everything and leave out nothing." This way, our righteous thoughts were not limited to our local area. After sending forth righteous thoughts for one hour, I felt very comfortable, and my entire body was immersed in energy. I truly felt like I was "Purging evil as if but whisking dust away" ("A Will That Ebbs Not"). After three days, the machine miraculously recovered, and our work continued smoothly.

Through this experience, we further realized the importance of Fa-study and regarding the Fa as Teacher. Now when we work together, we always memorize and recite Zhuan Falun. Even if it is just one paragraph or a few sentences, we memorize it until we can recite it fluently. The machine has continued to operate smoothly, and the results have been very good.
