(Clearwisdom.net) On November 26 and 27, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners from the Toronto area participated in two Christmas parades in the nearby cities of Markham and Mississauga. It was snowing during the parade in Markham. About 100 groups comprising over 2,000 people participated in the parade. Falun Gong was the only group representing traditional Chinese culture. In Mississauga, it rained for two minutes just before the parade. But the rain stopped when the parade started. A mother with two children said that the sky was helping and they would have a good event.

To Mississauga residents, Falun Gong is no longer a new face. Many spectators applauded and cheered the Falun Gong practitioners along the streets.

In recent years, Falun Gong practitioners in Canada have actively participated in community celebrations and parades showing the beauty of Falun Dafa as well as exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They have also exhibited traditional Chinese performance art.
