My Experience in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) In the summer of 2002, I was reported to the police for clarifying the truth. The local security office illegally sentenced me to three years of forced labor and then sent me to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. During the three years I was tortured at the Masanjia Labor Camp, my husband also suffered tremendously at home. I have now completed this sentence and have been released.

During the three years of detention in Masanjia I suffered every day under intense labor and was only served stale and moldy food. The guards allowed collaborators to do less work and were more lenient with them. They treated the determined practitioners very harshly.

During one period of time when the evil was very rampant, the guards and collaborators said to me, "If you still refuse to write the "Guarantee Statement" we will not allow you to sleep. You will be handcuffed and forced to stand all day and night facing the wall." Due to my shallow understanding of the Fa and my attachments to fear and lack of righteous thoughts I was unable to endure the tremendous pressure and wrote the Guarantee Statement against my will.

I felt uneasy after that, and I began to think it over. I recalled Teacher's words, "Grand talk counts for naught when it comes to life and death, Actions reveal what is true".

I regretted what I did. Before I practiced Dafa, I suffered from various diseases such as dizziness, stomach problems and mammary gland proliferation. All these illnesses were cured after I practiced Falun Gong. Teacher cleansed my body. I once again began studying the Fa and practicing the exercises every day and evaluated myself according to the universal principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. I then realized that my writing the Guarantee Statement was cooperating with the evil and was the arrangement of the old forces. It was disrespectful to Teacher and Dafa. I then wrote a "Solemn Declaration" and submitted it to the guards. I told them, "I will rise from wherever I fall. Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is righteous. There is nothing wrong with being Truthful, Compassionate and Forbearing. I will be unmoved and determined in practicing Dafa."

The guards said nothing.

I calmed down after submitting the declaration. I recited Teacher's articles and sent forth righteous thoughts every day. When guards tried to persuade me to change my mind, I clarified the truth to them.

At the Masanjia Labor Camp, when anyone shouts, "Falun Dafa is good," he is sent to solitary confinement or his term is extended. The screaming from solitary confinement can be heard at all times. The physical torture equipment includes items like the "iron plane," a "death bed" and the tiger bench, among others. There have been countless practitioners sent to solitary confinement or whose terms have been extended. On Teacher's birthday, practitioners together shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" All practitioners involved had their term extended. One such example is Ms. Wang Xiuyan, a 40-year-old practitioner from Benxi. She was detained in the division led by guard Huang Haiyan. One day in late 2004, Ms. Wang shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." Guards Wang Xiaofeng, Wang Shuzheng (the instructor), Liu Chunjie (male), Huang Haiyan and Liu Hui forcefully sent her to the solitary confinement. Huang Haiyan covered her mouth to prevent her from shouting while several other guards dragged her across the floor.

Ms. Liu Yinfeng, a 50-year-old practitioner from Dandong City, was detained under the division led by guard Shi Yu. One day in early February of 2005, she shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." As a result, her term was extended for three months.

The labor camp guards use various means to torture practitioners, causing severe damage to their health and their bodies. Ms. Zhao Caihua from Chaoyang was also from Shi Yu's division. She went on hunger strike and was repeatedly force-fed. As a result of this brutal torture she was unable to swallow and became very thin. Her life was in great danger. She was finally released in late 2003.

Ms. Chen Hong suffered a great deal in guard Cui Ji's division. She was handcuffed and forced to stay outside on extremely cold, wintry days.

The guards and collaborators press practitioners who are on a hunger strike to the ground and force-feed them. They use various means to torture practitioners, humiliate, and abuse them.

Although information about these vicious deeds that the guards in the labor camp commit has been strictly blocked, many people outside the prison know all about them.

Dafa practitioners did not have any diseases when they were initially detained as everyone passed the physical exam and the labor camp would not accept any person with a serious health problem. However, after a certain period of detainment many people developed serious health problems or were crippled. Some are unable to care for themselves and others are in critical condition. Many practitioners released from solitary confinement are unable to keep their backs straight. Their legs are crippled and their hands cannot hold anything. Sometimes a person will just disappear after being sent to solitary confinement and no one knows where they were taken. Under the orders of the labor camp director Su Jing, the guards and collaborators have committed serious crimes.

At the Masanjia Labor Camp the TV always broadcasts the fabricated materials made up by fake scientists or "Qigong experts." They try to brainwash practitioners. They also invite so-called "experts and professors" from outside to confuse practitioners using the evil Party's culture. Some practitioners with shallow understandings of the Fa have been "transformed" and have taken a deviant path. They have cooperated with the police to transform other practitioners. Once they were deceived the guards instigated them to help torture other practitioners. Their minds are completely controlled by the old forces. They do whatever the guards tell them to do.
