New Zealand: Participating in the Christmas Parade in Dunedin (Photos)
By a practitioner in New Zealand
(Clearwisdom.net) On December 4, 2005, the annual Dunedin Christmas
Parade was held, with more than 80 groups participating. The parade started at 3 p.m. on Sunday (December 4) and moved along George
Street, the main road in Dunedin. Spectators on both sides of the street
welcomed the parade. In the parade, the practitioners' waist drum performance
and celestial maidens dance were especially eye-catching. The Falun Gong
spokesperson said, "Falun Gong is a cultivation practice based on
Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. Last year, practitioners received high
praise from the organizers for participating in the Dunedin Parade. This year we
were invited to participate again." |
