Righteous Thoughts Overcome Attempt at Illegal Arrest

This is a story about a new practitioner from Mainland China. Even a new practitioner who has cultivated for a short period of time can exhibit mighty power when he has enough righteous thoughts.

Mr. Zhang lives in Hubei Province and just started to practice Falun Dafa this year. Since he started the practice, he has been very steadfast and diligent, and he has been making rapid progress. Soon after he started the practice, he went out to clarify the truth and save sentient beings.

One day when Mr. Zhang was clarifying the truth at a market, two police officers spotted him. One of them yelled out, "What are you doing?" Mr. Zhang replied righteously, "I am doing good deeds and saving people!" The police shouted, "If you speak again, I'll use my electric baton!" While shouting, he lifted the electric baton and pointed it towards Mr. Zhang.

Mr. Zhang was full of righteous thoughts. He calmly and solemnly said, "Let the electric baton hit him." Although his voice was low, its power was not. As soon as the words were spoken, the police officer fell to the ground. The other police officer hurried to help his companion up. Under Teacher's protection, Mr. Zhang returned home safely.
